hmmmm.....maybe it's really just a myth that ancient people put together to explain some natural phenomenon that they could not otherwise explain!

The Ark was about as large as 3 football fields long and 3 stories high...
There was a representative of each species...2 dogs....2 cats...2 elephants...2 bears, etc.
Not 2 of each kind of bears, or dogs
There were also 7 each of the clean animals
Noah and his 3 sons and his wife and their 3 wives built the ark and loaded all the food. It took 40 years to build it and Noah and his family preached to try to get others to listen to God and join them in the Ark. None listened...They ridiculed like they do today.
Then the water canopy around the earth broke and the water drowned all mankind that wouldn't listen. Bible says they were eating and drinking and marrying and they "took no note", and the waters swept them all away.
So pay attention to what is going on.

You are assuming such extreme regions existed; that God could not direct the animals as easily as the weather; and that God who incited Noah's efforts, abandoned him when it came to packing. Doesn't wash.
Check out the other cultural versions of the great flood. I think it is the Polynesian veiw which hold only a canoe.

Just as God put instincts into the animals like birds flying south for the winter and knowing where to go year after year, God also sent the animals to Noah and then back to their own regions after the flood. There is no way of really knowing, but God could have put many of the animals into hibernation which would mean a lot less food storage and clean up, Noah only needed two of every kind of animal not two of every breed, such as only one male and one female dog, not one male and female Collie, one male and female German Shepard, etc. God knew what was needed and instructed Noah to do just what was needed for the survival of what God wanted to save.

I have read Walt Brown's theory that when the flood occured, the waters of the deep (vast underground bodies of water) exploded upward and broke what was Pangea into different continents. They drifted slowly apart, but before they were too far apart, different creatures and plants simply hopped, crawled, or floated (seeds) to that particular region. Another thing I read was that Noah probably brought very young animals, so they'd need less food. But the ark wasn't little - it was huge. REALLY huge.

He didn't get all the animals on the earth from all of those continents. He was not able to fit all the animals plus their food and other necessities (eg., scratching posts) on the ark. He was not able to care for so many animals and their waste. (Can one person plus a few friends successfully take care of the entire San Diego zoo for a few months?)
Conclusion: don't believe everything you read. Question everything, not just gossip magazines. Yes everything, from the bible to the Koran to scholarly journals. Think for youself!

One thing seems always to be ignored or forgotten in asking or answering these kinds of questions.... God can do what ever God wants to with His creation. God can flood the whole world if he wants to and if there is not enough water all He has to do is make more... where dose it all go after... where ever God put it... so, when God wanted all of the animals to be where he wanted them he got them ther... how he did it is His business.. if He wanted us to know He would have told us... no need to worry about it... if you doubt God or don't even believe in Him no explination will be good enough any way... But...God is God and God makes the rules...if He says let it be so...it will be so....

It wasn't That small. The measurements listed in Genisis tell us the Ark was larger than an aircraft carrier.

You can't seriously believe this, can you?
Read it again.
edit: and if you do believe it, go read your bible. What is the first thing Noah did? He performed an animal sacrifice (sounds a bit like devil-worshipping), then he got drunk and naked. Do you people let your children read this garbage?
