I guess it depends on what kind you are drinking. Are you wondering about a German or Alsatian Riesling? If so, I would certainly say no, it is not a girly wine. If you mean an overly sweetened California version that tastes nothing like the grape, well, yes it is girly.

Riesling is much more food friendly and versitle than most white wines, especially Chardonnay. Try a good Kabinett with some spicy Chinese or Mexican food sometime. The sweetness really compliments the spice.

P.S. Also Riesling is real wine, unlike White Zin or Arbor Mist.

Definitely not. Riesling is a very fine and sophisticated wine. It's not very known in America yet (maybe it's a good thing) where everybody drinks Chardonnay, because he/she does not know better.

Enjoy your Riesling and be proud of it. You are one of very small group of people who know how to enjoy life. Cheers!

It depends on the size of the German guy who's drinking it.
