teen community activities would problably be good such as dances, carnivals, parties ect ect you can meet ppl your age and they will live in your community so if you become friends you will live pretty close to each other. i know this is in the future but getting a small part time job allows you to meet new people young and old and you can also learn problem solving skills as well. i have also heard about homschooled kids taking their electives at local schools (middle and high i would assume) just having a class or two there would help meet lots of new people (i met so many new people and made so many different friends when i went to highschool it was great)
good luck! :D

There is a book called the "Teenage Liberation Handbook" which is a great resource... for teens and parents.. also "Real Lives eleven teenagers who don't go to school tell their own stories. Both have a lot of information for homeschoolers on meeting people joining activities other than sports, and other such things. good luck

Most kids use myspace and other sites.
The only problem with any chat site is that you do NOT know how old the other person you are talking to, age actually is.
Especially guys. Once we reach 35, we seem never to grow a day older. That is why I read about so many 40 year old men who claim they are age 14 on My Space.

sure, homeschoolers are in lots of situations as a lot or greater social than those in public faculties. i'm unsure what you advise approximately reward for a homeschooler being social? Like, is it greater effective to socialization to homeschool? Or, what are the reward to homeschoolers of socialization? of course, that is effective for somebody to have the means to socialise to the element that they are mushy and to the element that they'd stay a satisfying existence. For homeschoolers, homeschooling is effective to socialization because of the fact: one million. they could be social on their very own phrases. 2. Socialization would not are available in possibility of ignoring coaching or instructor (passing notes in college, being previous due or skipping classification, etc)

Your parents should have thought of that before trying to homeschool you. Tell them you blame them for your lack of friends and that they should send you to public school so you can grow up like a normal kid.

Well you dont need to be into sports to do afterschool activities. what about theatre or scouts. Or a local church may be a great way. Just put yourself out there.
