Not unless you pay extra for it...otherwise they just cut the toppings up into smaller bits so it LOOKS like you are getting extra cheese.

I have worked in Pizza Places and I have ordered alot of Pizza's and they always give you extra Chesse if you order it as a topping . I get extra cheese on all my pizza's.

You know whenever I ask for extra cheese I always get it. I can tell by the taste.

I think it depends. With the chains, I don't think you really get that much more by asking for double cheese.
I think in a local pizza place especially if you keep giving them business, they will want to make you happy.

most add extra cheese and some way over do it to let you know you got it..

~~~If you are a regular customer,,Im sure they do,,,,,and dont forget,,,,always tip your pizza delivery person well,,,,we seem to get our pizza faster and hotter each time!!! love extra cheese,,,,!

I always order extra cheese and it never looks like its on it or tastes like extra After typing this I should probably stop ordering this way
