I wish I could help you but what families need will differ from situation to situation. My mom got us out of the house and now she had the grandkids to worry about. It is a cycle that never ends. I really do hope things improve for you.

If you are speaking about how you are feeling about you, its only because you are doing your job right.
Parents that are there for their kids with guidance, direction and consistency, are the ones who are warn out at the end of the day; because THEY ARE DOING A GOOD JOB!!!!
Don't feel like the lone ranger in the finance department, I think most everyone is going through a trying time in that area right now. If the children are at an age that they would understand, share with them that you would really appreciate their help at finding ways to cut corners and thereby helping you to help them.
Don't be afraid to tell the family that you are just feeling warn out and would appreciate any/all help they can lend. Don't forget to take care of you, maybe you and the bride could get grandma and grandpa to take the kids from a Friday night to a Sunday night and you can either go somewhere or stay home and turn off the phone; be lazy, sleep in, eat comfort food, take long baths, listen to your favorite music, read, or don't do a darn thing, just veg. and take wonderful care of you. It will all get better, I promise!!!!

Help them as much as you can. If you're old enough for a parttime job, go to work and give them the money.
If you don't do as much as you can, you may have some bigtime regrets in the future.
