Well for one thing diaper rash is NOT from teething, teething doesn't cause diaper rash, the same time they are tething thier diet changes, make sure she has no strawberries or blueberries or anything like that her tummy isnt ready for thing like that. my grand daughter was the same and change of diet worked. Keep her on custards or bananas etc.you can go to the drug store and explain the rash and they will help you my daughter got 2 creams you mix together and it worked wonders, cant remember the names but ask at drug store, female pharmacist if possible. and cream that has zinc in it too, keep away from baby powder. and corn starch pure the kind you cook with works wonders, Change her diet its the cause of diarehha

This really helps. give him a bath in plain water. Let his bottom sit and soak in the plain (meaning no soap or baby bath stuff) warm water for at least ten minutes. Pat it dry and then leave the diaper off for as long as possible. I don't think powder is effective at all. I found Balmex to be the best diaper rash cream, but once when my daughter had severe diaper rash due to an allergic reaction, the Dr. prescribed some pure zinc oxide cream. It worked really well. As far as stopping the diarrhea, I'm not sure, you should put in a call to your pediatrician. However if you give him juice, you should stop that, especially apple juice, it can cause diarrhea.

Teething does not cause a toddler to get sick. It may weaken his immune system allowing him to get sick, but it doesn't actually make him sick. If your baby has diarrhea, I would consult his pediatrician immediately. Little ones can dehydrate really quickly and it's important to stay on top of things.
For the diaper rash try using Aveeno calming bath in his bath water and let him take a longer bath than normal. This always helped my daughter. We also used Bourdeoux Butt Paste and A&D Ointment with zinc. Those were life savers for us. Also, be sure that his diaper is changed immediately after diarrhea and only use a warm, wet washcloth to clean him. If you have to use wipes, make sure they are unscented or specially formulated for sensitive skin.
You may also want to remove the 8 top allergens from his diet and see if that makes a difference. I can't remember what they all are, but here are a few: wheat, peanuts, milk, eggs, shellfish... An allergic reaction could be something as simple as diaper rash.

Change diapers often and use corn starch for powder. Also be sure to wash the area with a soft cloth and cold(not refrigerated) water. The diarea may be do to food allergies see you doctor. Lots of T L C will help. Don't freak out babies are a lot of work and there is always going to be something.

A lot of times warm baths - not too warm, but not cold either - helps soothe their behinds. You don't even have to wash him, just run some warm water and put him in and let him play around for awhile. Do it as much as you need to or want to. Don't give him too much citrus stuff - juices and fruits. Fruit is good to help him have more poopy diapers. The citrus acid from his potty could sting his behind from the rash. Continue to load him up with cream - or try a different cream and see if a different one might work better. If nothing works and you are still concerned call his doctor and see if they have any more suggestions.

A&D ointment is absolutely the best. Butt paste made my son's rash worse, I would never use it. And Aveeno didn't really help heal the rash, but I think it made it feel better. Give him lots of baths, and let him be naked for a long time. I know that I was worried about pee and poo everywhere, so I put cloth diapers on him without the rubber pants. This way his bum can get some air, and your carpets stay somewhat clean. If he has diarreah really bad, give him pedialite. You don't want him to get dehydrated. And Oragel and teething tablets did nothing for my son. I stuck with infant motrin. In my opinion, it's better to put a little bit of medicine in him than for him to be in pain for so long.

Super Dooper Diaper Doo is a miracle diaper rash ointment! We are foster parents and have had several different babies at one time or another. We learned that this ointment works better than Desitin or other white creams. This one heals instead of just covering the rash.

Keep him dry. Make sure that you also keep him clean & well lubricated. There's a good diaper rash oinment called butt paste. You can get this at CVS Pharmacy. As far as the diahrea, you can't keep him from having that. But, you can help him get through it with Pedialyte. You may also have to switch to a different brand of diaper unless you've done this frequently. Sometimes switching the child's brand of diapers can cause a diaper rash cause the skin's gotten used to one type of diaper.

for the rash, use a&d oitment you can find it @ any store like walmart, some small store shave it there. I would stop using the power and try the oitment and possible take the diaper off while he sleeps, put a plastic bag and a towel under him of corse. But the oitment will work like a charm. For the diareah try feeding applesause(i know your thinking apple sause it will make more diareah, but it doesnt cause it is cooked) It will keep you child hydrated, and if it is cold it will help with the teething, also try rice which will for the stools.

with the diarrhea that bad then you should take him to the doctor because that is why the diaper rash keeps coming back and not getting better and I have never known of those symptoms relating to teething I would suggest the doctors.
