Usually the "Oneness Pentecostals" not only don't believe the teaching of the Trinity, but also that you must manifest the gift of "Tounges" to show your salvation, that you have been touched by the Holy Spirit.
They say there is no word as trinity in the Bible. They believe in the rapture but that words not in there either. It's a word that captures the teaching in the scriptures.

I like to state it is not they understand the truth of the gospel.. But the trinity is not a bible teaching. The nation of Israel even modern Jews do not believe God is 3 in 1. And as far as being all equal the understanding of Gods arrangement for the family would be questioned. head of the woman is the man, head of the man is the Christ, head of the Christ is God.
Oneness is unity and being able as a "nation" or as a "people" as one worshiping God Almighty. As such in Proverbs 8:12 and on , It is Jesus explaining his role as a helper to God himself. Jesus was created, he had a beginning. I fail to see why people rely on tradition and not study their bible. Jesus has a place in God's arrangement for his creation. Understanding that brings ever more appreciation to what Jesus did for everyone, and what his father God also went through and felt as well. When someone believes in the trinity, they fail to acknowledge the pain God felt to see his first son suffer and die. For a time not exist.

well... I think they have not examined it close enough
technically they believe in the SYbellian Trinity, one God who wears three hats... why would the son pray to the father... makes no sense this way
where orthodox Protestants and Catholics and Eastern Orthodox ... conservative Chrsitians believe in the Athanasian trinity.. one in nature, three in persons... the son could pray to the father as they are not the same person even though they share the same divine nature
I do agree with the Koran that its not a good idea to say the trinity is God the father, son and mother... thats not the trinity either.. lots of misunderstandings, eh?
and the JW.. well face it they have an anonymously translated BIble... the qualificatiosn of the translators are kept secret... no wonder they miss verses like "tear down this body and in three days I will raise it again" John 2 which show Jesus to be human enough to die but divine enough to raise himself from the dead

Apparently you are unaware that there is a superior doctrine which states that we are to be in one accord. Jesus is Lord. That is what is needed to believe that makes one a christian, and how to distinguish good from evil. The trinity doctrine was not believed by many highly respected vocal Christians, famous Christians who have done many good works lived honorable lives and and died believing Jesus was Lord. C.S. Lewis is one who comes to mind.
The exact relationship between the father and the son is very likely not understandable in its fullness by mortal man. Using this trinity doctrine to separate those who love Jesus as their Lord and believe the God of Abraham is the one true God is in error and against the will of God I am certain. We can not even separate our own souls from our spirit using words of discription, what makes youu think it can be done with God who is beyond our comprehension.
There can be no argument about the doctrine telling us to be in one accord so lets establish our priorities and stop the separational bickering.
There are scriptures which lean in the direction of trinity but they have alternate explanations of their meaning, same goes for the oppositions argument. If you have read your Bible then you know their are scriptures supporting both sides or you are just blocking out the words. They seem contradictory but latter when we see clearly those who caused separation of the body are going to be ashamed. Do not be one of these.

Thomas Aquinas once said: Something is self-evident in two ways: self-evident in itself and to us, or self-evident in itself and not to us. What he meant is that we are either aware of a truth or we are not. This is the case with these people.
DEMONSTRATING THE EXISTENCE OF THE HOLY TRINITY:
A term used since A.D. 200 to denote the central doctrine of the Christian religion. God, who is one and unique in his infinite substance or nature, is three really distinct persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The one and only God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Yet God the Father is not God the Son, but generates the Son eternally, as the Son is eternally begotten. The Holy Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son, but a distinct person having his divine nature from the Father and Son by eternal procession. The three divine persons are co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial and deserve co-equal glory and adoration.
We need to know how we are created in God's image to grasp the concept of the Holy Trinity and I think your question is a good one.
To understand this better chart it out or use a diagram of two triangles of equal proportions like the Star of David. This allows an easier understanding of the relationship between the Essence and Existence of a thing. The words following should be distinguished in the following categories: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual. These three words encompass everything in the Universe and make up the CREATIVE PROCESS to help describe the Creator, creatures, and creation.
God is spirit. He cannot be seen. If you were to examine all the creatures, the CREATOR has made a pattern emerges: angels and demons are intellectual creatures without a body; plants and animals do not have an intellect but a body and mortal soul. IT IS ONLY LIVING, HUMAN, BEINGS, that have a MIND, BODY, and SOUL. Only human beings have all three. Now, living, human, being is the existence of man. Those words describe the essence of man's mind, body, and soul. The Body is living, the Mind makes us human and distinguishing us from animals, and our Soul makes us the being that we become (good or evil).
Now, even Muslims will agree Allah is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (ever present). These words describe the existence of God. So, what is the essence of God? I will hold off answering this question till the end.
Now, if you think about the existence of a person they have a triple existence: physical (body), mental (mind), and spiritual (eternal soul). In fact, whenever we create something it has all three of these parts. When we cook we have a recipe (in our mind), we gather all the raw ingredients, and we cook (don't burn it, ha ha) what it is we are making. Cooking has the physical, mental, and spiritual parts. Same with engineering or technology it has three parts: the blueprints (to convey an idea), the raw materials (physical), and the workmanship (spiritual). If something goes wrong investigators will look for a design flaw, material flaw, or faulty workmanship. THIS DEMONSTRATES CREATION HAS THREE PARTS LIKE THE CREATOR.
Now, in the Bible it says Jesus is the visible likeness of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) The ESSENCE OF GOD IS: Father (mental), Son (physical), Holy Ghost (spiritual). ONE TRUE GOD IN THREE JUST LIKE A PERSON. THREE PARTS ONE PERSON. When you are sick you send for a doctor; when you are mentally troubled, a psychiatrist; when spiritually seeking you seek out a holy person.

I think you are severely mistaken I know that there is not another people who know the Bible and understand it better than Jehovahs Witnesses you speak out of ignorance because you dont know what you are talking about everything they say and teach is supported by the Bible 100% it is you who are blinded to the truth I have worked along side thees fine Christians for over 3 decades and there is not a finer example of True Christianity to be found any where get your facts straight or as a wise oriental gentleman once said " better it is to keep ones mouth shut and be considered foolish than to open it and remove all doubt " Gorbalizer

Yeah! Darn those JW's! Anybody with a lick of sense can figure out that 1+1+1=1. This is basic spiritual mathomantics, like crackers that turn into meat! I wish they'd get with it, because it's so simple that anybody with a lick of sense could understand it.

I think they're correct and the Bible proves they are. Jesus and his Father Jehovah are two different spirit persons, but are united in their thinking and are in full accord with each other. At GENESIS 2:24 consider what God says regarding a marraige--" Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Notice, it says one flesh---when a man takes a wife, does that mean that the husband is also the wife in the same body? No, of course not, but that is how people think of God and his Son. When the Bible says that God and Jesus are "one" it means they are separate, yet in agreement with each other.
Jesus said this in prayer to his Father in heaven at JOHN 17:11--
"And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are."
Jesus was praying about his disciples, that they would be "one" just as he and God were "one"
Did the disciples actually become one person or were they one in unity?
No matter how you try to reason with Trinitarians, they cannot seem to grasp the truth about who the true God really is. They insist on worshipping a triad of Gods. Jesus is the mediator between us and Jehovah God (PSALM 83:18).
Jesus was exalted to be a Prince and Saviour as stated at ACTS 5:31--"Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."

There's always extremes. If you won't be knocked off with the trinity stick then you will be knocked off with the oneness stick. Forgive me but I believe both sides are wrong. I believe that God is one. he's one God in three offices. Example: In the wilderness with the children of Israel He was a Pillar of Fire by night and Cloud by day. When Jesus Christ walked on earth the fullness of God was manifested in Him, and when He rose the Holy Spirit fell on the believers in portion in the upper room. Now the true believing Christians make up the body of Christ. All of this is God Himself. Christ was God on earth because the fullness of God rested in Him. The true believing church is God because the same Spirit that rested on Christ rests on the believers (Holy Spirit), but no one person is God it's the whole believing group. It's like water, the ocean is vast and great like the Father, an ice cube is solid but it has the same make up of the ocean (water) like the Son, and rain is like the Holy Spirit and it falls on those who will accept Him. All three are water and all three are God. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

the truth of the Gospel is subjective to the reader
who are you to say that you understand it any better than anyone else ?
or that one section of people have more truth than others ?
people dont deny the trinity simply because they wish to or are told to .. but because in reading the same book as you do , then it makes no sense for them
i dont see that as wrong .. just a difference of opinion
