Corey,
I was homeschooled until age 14. If your mother wants to teach you, make sure she has a teaching degree. If not, tell her she isn't qualified to teach. I stopped homeschooling when I was 14 because my parents couldn't teach me anything else.
You might graduate faster. I started going to college and working part time when I was 16. The biggest draw back is that homeschooling causes you to accelerate in education, but hinders your social skills. Everyone of the people who tell you that they have been through homeschool and loved it are what I like to call "social retards". They may be book smart, but ask them how many friends they have and you'll start to realize my point.
There is more to schooling than education. It is a time in your life where you need to learn how to interact with people your own age and develop social skills that you will need the rest of your life. Imagine graduating early and starting college young. How many friends do you think you'll make when you look like you should still be in highschool? How will you deal with a classroom full of people that you don't know?
I mean this in all seriousness: based on your spelling and sentence structure, I think you need to go somewhere with qualified teachers to help you learn. If you are smart, you can still graduate early. There are advanced classes for people who do well. You'll also get to experience things like school dances, sports, trading lunches, skipping class, getting sent to the principle's office and most importantly, making friends with kids your own age. Go to public school. Trust me.

one million. Homeschoolers are as socialized as anybody else. The important change from public schoolers could be that homeschoolers have extra possibilities to engage with a much wider variety of men and women from more than a few cultures and backgrounds. In public institution you spend such a lot time in a lecture room with equal age youngsters from the equal zip code. a. Socialized to me manner being in a position to engage with different men and women. two. Many homeschoolers get a satisfactory schooling. a. I feel so much homeschoolers who pick institution are good ready. They have most likely spend extra time finding out on their possess and feature had extra numerous stories main there. three. Homeschoolers spend extra time within the "truly" global, so they're greater ready to role in it. They see what it takes to are living external of a lecture room for extra hours everyday. a. Some homeschoolers could also be sheltered, however not more than public schoolers. A lot of this quite is determined by the person loved ones. There is plenty of sort in the market, identical to with public institution scholars. Every individual is special and has one of a kind stories. I truthfully feel promenade is unhealthy instance of lacking out since as homeschoolers my daughter had the possibility to visit three final yr. two homeschool ones, and one million public institution. The most effective factor they fail to notice is the general public institution revel in. Often homeschoolers get lecture room revel in which has similarities, however it's not as common or as a lot a aspect in their lives. Therefore they see matters from an additional viewpoint. But, however, even youngsters within the equal lecture room do this, simply probably to not the equal measure. As for cmow... I discover his feedback fun. I check out to not be impolite to men and women, however his self-importance and lack of know-how simply made me LOL. Good success in your paper :D

If your goal is to get a job paying minimum wage, jeopardize your social development, and limit the variety and content of the subjects you are able to take in high school, then I say, go for home schooling. If, however, you want the most from your high school years while you prepare for acceptance in a university in which you can learn a profession that will pay 5, 10, or even 15 times minimum wage, then you should stay in a public or private school.
Parents are usually not the best school teachers. Some become frustrated trying to teach a subject they barely passed and still do not understand. Others get so busy with home life that they do not stick to the routine of daily classes, allowing the student to fall behind in his studies.
Finally, home schooling cannot provide the life experience of interaction with ones peers, competition, and leadership These are skills one needs for success in life, just as much as the academic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic.

I feel that everyone should have at least one chance at a regular school, if it doesn't work out then they could go with home schooling. I am a mother who met my high school sweetheart and feel in love and we have been happily married for 8 years. Without going to public school we would have never met. People are social by nature and need to be around other peers their age at least some time in their life. If you don't want to be home schooled then that should be your decision. I think your mother is being selfish and greedy.

Well, I personally have never been homeschooled, so I dont know what that is like. I think that going to school is a good experience b/c you have interaction with other kids and I think that you learn better from people other that your parents sometimes. I would stay in school and continue to go there and graduate from there. I wish you the best and I hope that everything works out. I think that your education and socializing will be better staying where you are!!!

I was homeschooled for a lot of my schooling...some of the best times were when I was homeschooling AND going to public school! I took classes that I couldn't take so well at home: french, choir, that type of thing. See if you could do both?

Stay in school. Graduate, go to college, graduate.
If they need help with the bills, get a part time job after school.
Parents do not have children to be extra income for the family.
