Islam paper help!?

Question

Hi, im starting to write a paper about Islam's Military Success in the Middle Ages. I read thru the Koran, and now i have to write a paper using things i quoted from the Koran about passages tha concern Christians(and other non muslims) and passages that encourage warfare against non-muslims. Im trying to think of a good thesis, any advice? thanks!

The passages you quote need to prove or disprove your thesis, so start from that point of view.

Also, are you talking a defensive or offensive posture.

Try reading "the politically incorrect guide to Islam" and "Islam and terrorism" by mark Gabriel. He is a former Muslim professor of Islamic history at a university in Egypt. Also read Surah 9 specifically.
