In choosing the type of intelligence , its important to realize whats important to you and what drives you nuts. Do you admire Logic? To you admire people who are articulate? Do you admire people who are musical? Handy? etc. etc. Most of us like a combination of these, some people like people with their same types of intelligence some like those who compliment theirs and can make up for shortcomings. The two you should be most concerned with are the intra personal and interpersonal. These two regulate how the person will be in a relationship and how realistic they are about themselves.

When I choose a mate, I will look for someone who will NOT agree with everything I say just to make me happy. I want someone with REAL thoughts and REAL ideas that they will share with me. I hate being treated like everything I say is magical or something. I want someone who is interested in what I have to say, yet they will share their opinion with me too! Intellegence is something I value very greatly. I love to have intellegent conversations with people I love. And since people spend most of the rest of their lives with their mates, I want an intellegent mate with diverse thoughts yet things we have in common too.

Ehm..sorry for only answering your second question.
