Personally, I feel they do some very good work protecting the planet's oceans and the creatures that live within it. The guy who founded it, Cpt Paul Watson, also co-founded Greenpeace but left to found Sea Shepherd. If you haven't checked it out yet, you can here:

Rob Sitch and Jonny Vasic

Jonny Vasic is the International Director of Sea Shepherd, an environmental group more radical than Greenpeace. Jonny is visiting Australia drumming up support for the Antarctica Campaign against Japanese Whalers illegally killing whales in the Southern Marine Sanctuary and in Australian Territorial Waters.

"When Sea Shepherd is actively involved in action against whalers or illegal fishing vessels, Jonny insists that no one is every hurt. 'We're direct action... as far as this campaign, we can't discuss tactics, but we'll do whatever we can to stop them... We'll harass, we'll put ourselves between the whale and the harpoon if need be. Last year we rammed the Oriental... we don't ram to sink a ship and no one in the 30 year history has been hurt... so a lot of it's intimidation, because they know we mean business.

I am a whale lover especially Orca's they are beautiful creatures and to kill them for the hides is just pure sick. I am for the protection of all animals or creatures of the sea. They have done a great respect to the ocean.

i think of he's an entire jackas*. i've got faith the business enterprise has the desirable recommendations and motives at coronary heart, yet they do no longer seem to be precisely doing something. I propose, stinkbombs? o.O somewhat?

Although their motives could be noble, their methods are way too radical. One day, someone will die as a result of their action.
Watson did not leave Greenpeace, he was *expelled* because he is a loose canon.
