Yes it is normal, because when you have your Wisdom teeth pulled or any other tooth, during the process, the other teeth are often pushed around by the dentist or dental surgeon, removing the Wisdom teeth. Sort of disturbers the whole mouth, for they are in there pulling and pushing, and have your mouth stuffed full of gauze. Yes your other teeth can become sore, but usually clears in a few days. Thanks for the opportunity to answer your question.

Yes, Its probably soreness from the surgery and something called "Sympathetic Pain". I was an oral surgery nurse for many years and also had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. OR....
It is very possible you have something called "Dry Socket", when the blood clot came out of the hole prematurely and that can cause alot of pain. Especially if the extracted teeth were on the bottom, though dry sockets can occur on the top sockets too sometimes, but not as common. If you contact your Oral surgeon, and tell them you are in severe pain, (pain medicine doesnt work well with dry sockets) ask to come in and be treated for dry socket,to examine if you have one (or 2!) 4 days is about the time a dry socket would show up. There is a medicine they can place inside the socket to soothe the pain. And it really works!!! They should not charge you anything for this service!! Good luck , hope you feel better!!!

I refuse to have any dentist touch my wisdom teeth, they are there for a reason. So that when I am toothless, I will still have 4 more LOL In any case, that is just an opinion. It sounds like you probably have a swollen wound most likely. Vicodin will help you keep the pain off but it will not help with the swell. It is swollen because somehow it has gotten some bacteria or got exposed. The dentist will usually put something to lower the swelling and then most likely some penicillin or similar medicine. If it is very bad and you have insurance, you might want to visit the hospital to see if they can inject you for the swelling or bacteria. Good Luck!

Yes. The roots of your remaining teeth are probably exposed by the hole left where your wisdom teeth were. If anything hot or cold, or just air touches the roots, they will hurt.
If you are swollen or think you have an infection though, you need to go back to your doctor. You should have actually asked him this in the first place, not a bunch of strangers on the internet.

Yes, I think it is because that is something major done to the jaw bone (removal of teeth) and it makes sense the surrounding teeth may feel sore, but hurting really bad, I think you should contact the doctor to see if this is normal and maybe they can prescribe something.

Call the doc's number, reach the emergency line, leave a message. He will probably call in an antibiotic if he thinks it is infected. It is mroe likely to get an infection if you havethe lower teeth pulled.
