Your question shows that you are arrogant and think you are better than Christians.
Christians (a true Christian) admit to being sinners and needing God to help them. Atheists don't admit to being flawed in anything, and they don't think that they need anyone but themselves.

Atheists, because they rely on logic and reason to express their beliefs, feel compelled to answer every question in order to defend their beliefs, whereas for a Christian, a simple "Jesus is salvation" or "Because the Bible says..." will do.
People have a natural compulsion to ascribe to "God" everything and anything that cannot be readily explained.
Christians feel they need only answer to Jesus or God for their wrongdoings. They go, they sin, they take Jesus back into their hearts and they are "saved". Atheists do something wrong, and they are held accountable by every human being they have wronged. They have no deity or "savior" to hide behind. They have no demons or devils to scapegoat. They have to deal with what they've done to themselves and others, and that can be much more harsh than praying for forgiveness.

If anyone does anything evil, it's because men in nature are wicked. "Not one is righteous" and "all fall short of the glory of God." The reason any of us do evil is because we desire evil, even Christians.
As for Christians having to rely on faith, while the Athiest has facts. Many concepts in the Bible are not easily understood, ie. Three persons in one God. So, what we don't or can't understand, we believe in through faith. Christians believe in God, who is impossible to prove or disprove. Athiests, in general, only believe in what they can prove. So naturally, if you limit your beliefs to what you can observe or prove, you can rely on facts and forsake faith. But if you belive in what is unknowable, faith has a bigger role.
Another reason is that Christians are lazy and don't take the time to do research on other viewpoints with a "I already know the truth" mentality.

I don't understand this, either.
I can accept an answer of, "I don't know where we come from" but Christians require that I be able to answer every mystery of the universe or accept their answer of "God did it." I am not all-knowing but I know enough to know we know almost nothing as a species. I know we are children - would you ask a toddler how to fly a rocket to the moon? Just because he doesn't know the answer it doesn't make him a fool, just a person who doesn't have an answer yet.
What makes it so Christians can't accept the idea of not having a pat answer to everything?
The sad thing about religion and personal responsibility is that while the bad acts of Christians are excused so are their good acts. Christians believe that nothing good comes from man, only from God. Examine this thought a moment and tell me it doesn't make you feel sad for every Christian child? So we are never allowed to make mistakes and receive forgiveness from Christians - they are never allowed to feel joy for their accomplishments. They are taught from a young age that they are sinful, inherently evil creatures - what does that do to a child? Of course they come to believe it, that humans are inherently evil without God to direct them.
This is why they feel it natural to do sinful things or evil things - they have been taught that evil and sin are normal to human beings. Then they seek forgiveness because their natural conscience and humanity rebels against the awful things they have done. On the other hand (and I'm sure this is far more common) when they do something good and begin to feel a human rush of pleasure at their goodness - they feel it is only God working through them, that they are only filthy vessels prone to goodness only when God fills them.
Be sad, Christians don't accept responsibility for their evil but they don't get to own their own goodness, either. You and I can't abide doing evil because we need to be able to respect ourselves - Christians aren't allowed to respect themselves, only God.

So you feel you are being unfairly judged, do you? Well, it's not just people that do that, the law tends to be judgmental too.
If you're standing in your house naked and a woman sees you, the case could be made that you are exposing yourself. And if a woman is naked in her house and she happens to see you pass by, a case be made that you are a peeping tom?
But just think, when you die, you'll be all dressed up with no place to go. Meanwhile, we're going to keep burning question marks in the front yards of the agnostics.

That really you, I have to check it out but it seemed ok.
Atheists DO have to have the answers. See, God has all the answers when you're a theist.
God created the universe. Enough said
You want to be an Atheist you better give us GREAT details has to how the universe was constructed if it wasn't made by a God or Space Aliens with very advance technology.
This "randomist" thing about putting electronic parts in a box and letting a monkey shake it for 1 billion years and you'll eventually get a working X-box is a bit far fetched!

You comments apply to just about any organized religion.
People use religion to justify their own inadequacies and to justify hurting those who are different from them. Look at the terrorists who killed a nun after the pope accused Islam of being a violent religion....how ridiculously hypocritical is that?

This is the first time I have heard this twist. If an Atheist is held to a higher standard than God, then who is it that is your moral law giver?

Are you a Dude or a Dyke? (At least I clicked on the link)
just joke buddy
Christians believe they are made righteous when they have Jesus in them. So they expect special privileges
If a christian is wrong, its due to mis understanding of the text.
If an atheist is wrong, its because he/she is an atheist and is easily deceived by satan.

If I think you're going to hell, so what? You don't believe in hell.
If you think Christians are stupid, so what? It doesn't make you any smarter.
