Yes, you can trust a cheater after they have cheated as long as they are truly sorry. I have a boyfriend and I cheated on him 2 years ago and we are still together. He trust me. Give him one more chance but make it clear that if it happens again then it is over for good. But yes you do need to keep an eye on him and don't confront him unless you know for a fact that he is cheating again. Don't believe what someone else tells you, you have to catch him cheating.

1) Actions speak louder than words

2) Trust and cheater in the same sentence cancels one of them out.

A cheater is prone to lie, even to himself. There is no credibility to trust and may never happen.

It depends if they are sorry because they cheated and acted in a slimy, untrustworthy manner - or is he sorry because he got caught.

Personally if someone cheats on me, I feel they have no respect for me and my feelings and that hey are a liar and cheater because they went against their vows to be true.

No, I'd move on.

Second chances are always good but keep an eye on him. If you see him cheating confront him about it. However if it looks questionable don't bring it up unless you have real proof. If it turns out he REALLY has changed and you confront him you could ruin your whole relationship.

No , sorry, you can't. It would take allot of effort and time for someone to grow out of this habit. Take it from one who knows.
It was hard and took many years for me to change.

It's your call ..Sometimes the mistake knocks sense into them ,but if they do it again you can guarantee they will be a repeat offender!

(In this category) No. It's a "character" flaw that is more likely, than not, to repeat itself in the same - or subsequent - relationship.
