Probably not. You'd have a better chance of choking on a mentos if anything.
This is like the old urban legend about Pop Rocks and Coke. I've tried that, and it's like a party in your mouth. What's even more exciting is if you're making out with someone with pop rocks and a little coke in your mouth, and you'll feel twice the exhilaration.

No, but you would be wet. It is a total mess when you
you do that. No way can you hold it in your mouth.
Better to just slip a mentos into a friends diet soda
can when they are not looking.

Me and my friends used to put mentos in our mouth and then garggle diet cola. None of us died, but we did get soaking wet with cola!

You might really fizz and foam= your mouth would probably open and you would be fine- you don't want it to go into your lungs and get aspiration pnemonia!! the stuff might even come out your nose-!! d
