First, Christianity is not confusing...

Now for the questions...

GOD did not have a son, he himself came down to earth in the form of a human, he was called "the son" because he was in a sence a part of GOD sent to earth in the form of a human... GOD is omnipresent... he is everywhere, all the time... he is always in every city, state, country, and in Heaven at all times.

The blood redemption is the blood that Jesus shed when he died on the cross for everyone's sins. he could have come down off the cross if he wanted to, but his love for us held him up there

Crucifixtions were common back when Jesus was alive. Most of the people who were accused of a crime, were hung on a cross to die. it was a very painful way to die, because they were mocked and then they had their legs broken and they sufficated. Jesus was nailed to the cross, beaten, stripped, spat upon, and had a crown of thorns jammed onto his head, and it wasn't just rose thorns... they were 3 inch spikes...

The "original Sin" was the sin that Adam and Eve commited in the Garden of Eden when they ate of the fruit of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. GOD made us all perfect and without sin or death. If Adam and Eve hadn't of sinned that day in the Garden, everyone that has ever been born, would still be alive.

The trinity is mentioned in the BIBLE, but it doesn't come out and say "the trinity" they didn't have that word back then. Just like Dinosaurs and dragons are mentioned in the BIBLE... they didn't have those words when the BIBLE was written. i don't have the time to actually find it, but if you really want me to prove it to you, email me and i'll give you exact Books, Chapters and Verses...

GOD is not one of three, he is one of one... HE has multiple personalities, persay... as i said before, he is always everywhere all the time, he just has 3 different identities, i guess you could call them pen names or something...

As i said before, the "SON" isn't really a son, he IS GOD in flesh. GOD has 3 different forms... the "FATHER" and the "SON" whose forms are both in heaven, and the "SPIRIT" which is in the souls of all who will recieve him and he is also everywhere on earth...

The Christian language isn't torture and it isn't that complicated once you actually try to understand it...

i hope this helped a little bit, and like i said, email me with any questions... lilusachick2006@yahoo.com

While it may be true Trinity (and for that matter Rapture) is not mentioned in the Bible

Jesus said to remember the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirt or Ghost, which is a trillogy.

And everyone's doctrines are confusing, I wish I had the link to the question about women and veils and you should hear the Mulims all splintered about this. One says this, anothers says that and they ALL quote the Quran!

So Islamics are as confused about their own book as they are about the Bible.

Salamon Alaykom, Welcome to Islam brother. this is Step a million, Shaytaan will come at you like a ton of bricks now. could Allah (SWT) safeguard us from the Shaytaans of guy and Jinn. i visit enable others answer this, yet i visit basically factor which you have an criminal duty to do Da'wa like each and every persons now. I relatively have heard different former Christians, even Pastors who point out very very comparable factors as you have. Sheikh Yusuf Estes studied conaic Greek and went by using some Aramaic. He factors out how the unique scripts sound a lot nearer to the Qur'an than immediately's NT. He additionally stated a number of the mistranslations, regardless of if unintended or planned, as you have. carry tight to the rope of Allah (SWT) and thank the author for training.

aziz,

You have mentioned something here that I find fascinating and supports an idea of mine. I think the Arabs rewrote the Bible. Having mentioned that it is in the Qur'an after the concept was given a term to the meaning supports my belief. Please consider the following thoughts and may Allah bless you.

THE HOLY BIBLE AND QUR'AN:

FACT: IT CAME INTO EXISTENCE CENTURIES AFTER THE BIBLE AND TORA. People who believe in it seem to think a counterfeit comes before the original. Islamic believers cannot validate the claim that the Bible is the counterfeit because the Bible's existence preceded the Qur'aan.

FACT: THE QUR'AAN TESTIFIES ABOUT ONE TRUE GOD (ALLAH) AND HIS PROPHETS. These truths were in the Bible and Torah long before the Qur'aan. This fact reveals that the Qur'aan is not the first writtings about God and his prophets and suggests that the Qur'aan is not authentic but a forgery.

FACT: IT WAS WRITTEN BY THE ASSOCIATES OF MUHAMMAD (pbuh). Muhammad could not read nor write. Therefore, Muhammad could not verify the validity of the holy book.

FACT: THE QUR'AAN's EXISTENCE WAS AFTER THE TECHNOLOGY OF WRITTING WAS INVENTED. Believer's of the Qur'aan and Islam think the errors in the Bible prove it is not the Word of Allah. Nothing is further from the truth. The technology of writing didn't exist in the time when stories of salvation history were unfolding. So, naturally there are errors since the oral tradition existed before the invention of writing.

The Bible is not 100% accurate but, there are some things to take into consideration before declaring the Bible an invalid source to believe in. You ask a lot of good questions.

There are some problems with the Bible and errors. Please remember, the Old Testament was passed down by oral tradition before the technology of writing was available. Compared to the Quran which existed long after the technology for writing was invented. So, yes there are errors.

Secondly, there are different ways to interpret based upon the "literary forms" of writers. Depending whether it is in a historical context, prophetic, poetry, or some other type of literary form. I believe Jesus Christ IS THE WORD of God. The Bible is written by people inspired by God.

If you took a Bible course and discovered what SCRIPTURAL TYPOLOGY is you would be amazed. If you knew what SALVATION HISTORY was in the Bible you would understand. If you recognized DIVINE AUTHORITY you would know that there has to be someone in authority to reveal the "secret" truths God has given. If you research all those phrases you will begin a journey of discovery that will last a life time.

We have a saying in Catholicism: the New Testament is hidden in the Old and the Old is revealed in the New. There are many mysteries contained in the Bible that I have been amazed at discovering for the past 20 years and there is a whole lot more. St. Jerome said: Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. The whole Bible is about our SALVATION: Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament about the Messiah you can discover 50 of them in cd's IT IS WRITTEN.

WHEN YOU HAVE BEGUN TO DISCOVER THESE THINGS YOU WILL KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY MAN. Jesus (a historical figure along with others in the Bible that are not fictitional characters) by fulfilling just 50 prophesies makes the odds of doing that 10X135 power! An astronomical figure that could not have been achieved by human means.

The thing that might shock you and others is that SATAN used scripture to tempt Jesus. So, too Satan will use scripture to trip us up from following the true faith. This is why there has to be DIVINE AUTHORITY that passes from the Old Testament to APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION in the New Testament. This is why someone cannot Authoritatively pick up a Bible and correctly interpret it nor can there be millions of interpretors to HOLY SCRIPTURE. There can only be one!

DEMONSTRATING THE EXISTENCE OF THE HOLY TRINITY:

A term used since A.D. 200 to denote the central doctrine of the Christian religion. God, who is one and unique in his infinite substance or nature, is three really distinct persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The one and only God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Yet God the Father is not God the Son, but generates the Son eternally, as the Son is eternally begotten. The Holy Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son, but a distinct person having his divine nature from the Father and Son by eternal procession. The three divine persons are co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial and deserve co-equal glory and adoration.

We need to know how we are created in God's image to grasp the concept of the Holy Trinity and I think your question is a good one.

To understand this better chart it out or use a diagram of two triangles of equal proportions like the Star of David. This allows an easier understanding of the relationship between the Essence and Existence of a thing. The words following should be distinguished in the following categories: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual. These three words encompass everything in the Universe and make up the CREATIVE PROCESS to help describe the Creator, creatures, and creation.

God is spirit. He cannot be seen. If you were to examine all the creatures, the CREATOR has made a pattern emerges: angels and demons are intellectual creatures without a body; plants and animals do not have an intellect but a body and mortal soul. IT IS ONLY LIVING, HUMAN, BEINGS, that have a MIND, BODY, and SOUL. Only human beings have all three. Now, living, human, being is the existence of man. Those words describe the essence of man's mind, body, and soul. The Body is living, the Mind makes us human and distinguishing us from animals, and our Soul makes us the being that we become (good or evil).

Now, even Muslims will agree Allah is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing), and omnipresent (ever present). These words describe the existence of God. So, what is the essence of God? I will hold off answering this question till the end.

Now, if you think about the existence of a person they have a triple existence: physical (body), mental (mind), and spiritual (eternal soul). In fact, whenever we create something it has all three of these parts. When we cook we have a recipe (in our mind), we gather all the raw ingredients, and we cook (don't burn it, ha ha) what it is we are making. Cooking has the physical, mental, and spiritual parts. Same with engineering or technology it has three parts: the blueprints (to convey an idea), the raw materials (physical), and the workmanship (spiritual). If something goes wrong investigators will look for a design flaw, material flaw, or faulty workmanship. THIS DEMONSTRATES CREATION HAS THREE PARTS LIKE THE CREATOR.

Now, in the Bible it says Jesus is the visible likeness of the invisible God. (Colossians 1:15) The ESSENCE OF GOD IS: Father (mental), Son (physical), Holy Ghost (spiritual). ONE TRUE GOD IN THREE JUST LIKE A PERSON. THREE PARTS ONE PERSON. When you are sick you send for a doctor; when you are mentally troubled, a psychiatrist; when spiritually seeking you seek out a holy person.

I believe the church explains it very confusingly. For example, I believe that the trinity is God in three forms, like an actor playing three parts in a play. In one form he is the Father, creator of heaven and earth and ruler of the universe. In the second form he is Jesus Christ... he is basically just the Father with a face and body. In the final form, he is the Holy Ghost, the spirit of Jesus. He is the power of God incarnate and seen in daily life.

I know that too may be very confusing, but I do not believe I torture myself. I can ask you the same question. If you'll notice, Muhammad's writings get more controversial and radical as he progresses in life and becomes more accepted. Can you really believe a man who's writings adjust with the acceptance of them?

I have no problem with you believing in him, though. I think you are completely entitled to believe Muhammad is right as I am entitled to believe Christ is the Messiah. As long as we both live moral and truely virtous lives, though, I don't believe what or who we believed in will matter.

I don't know if you're really serious or not but I'm sure you'll be getting a lot of answers with the same tone of disrespect your question has. I do not disrespect any other religion & I want you to remember that a large majority of christians don't either......but they're not the ones you'll probably be hearing from.

Our beliefs may seem strange to you but then so do yours to us; e.g. all those virgins in heaven for the suiciders.

I am curious, though, what your definition of the trinity is. Ours is the belief that it is composed of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I am sure that Rocket science and Neurosurgery are confusing studies for most of us also, but that does not make either of them unbelievable.

Just because something is not easy enough for a three year old to understand does not make it unbelievable.

I guess you could ask yourself why you want something to be so simple that you do not have to think about it. That is proababally the thing that is bothering you more than anything else.

Why do you lie to yourself in this manner. The bible is very clear and straight to the point, how ever the secrets of the kingdom are only revealed to those who seek our lord with a full heart, you are just on the outside looking in, that is why it is so confusing

Islam came AFTER Christianity, the founder of Islam, Mohammad, said he thought he was being possessed by a demon and those around him thought he was possessed as well, the religion takes some from Judaism and Christianity and perverted others, the devil can't make up anything new, he's a copy-cat and can't be original, he's not God

Why are you so concerned about Christians beliefs?--

I am a Christian and I am not expecting anyone to believe what I believe, nor I am expected to believe others in their own confusing beliefs.

Is God twisting your arms to believe all that you enumerated here? God gives us free will to make our choices. You have a free will and so are the rest of us. Stick to your own destruction, if you want to. I am not a Christian who will sweet talk you. You made your choice, so be it... *smile*
