Speaking from personal experience i would suggest Columbian Crest Chardonay. It has a fruity flavor that goes good with most seafood, especially crab and lobster.

Hope this helps and God Bless,

Chris

Crab goes better with ale than with wine.

If you must drink wine with it pick a light bodied white wine but wine with crab is a little like wine with cheeseburgers.

But I'd save the wine for the lobster. The wine will depend on how the lobster is prepared.

A few truffles and an avocado would go nicely with braised lobster tails and drawn butter, chilled asparagus tips for contrast and perhaps a Coppo Coste Bianche Chardonnay.

ks girl is a moron. Chadonnay is to broad a suggestion and completely wrong. Pinot? Pinot what my dear?

with crab the subtle nutty sweetness would go well with a Sancerre or a dry Rose (not that nasty pink white zin sugar water that only the ignorant enjoy) depending on the preparation. A nice prosseco or other light sparkling would be wonderful, a real showstopper!

A basic soft white goes well, you want something subtle as to not take away from the flavor of the food.
To be honest though, if your doing like a large, casual crab-fest type thing..beer goes good with it!

Go for a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlboro region. The luscious fruit and minerally finish with pair superbly with the crab.

A pinot grigio is a good bet... FYI, WHITE zinfandel IS NOT wine... it is leftover garbage grapes!
