wow, the brain? you must have the experiance, huh?
I could only imagin the pain at that point.

anyways, people get tattoos as a way to help relieve stress from a loss, as a way of making amends with a problem or past, as a symbolic reference to the soul and spirit or because they enjoy art.

not because their friends said so....

I had a piece put in with boars tusk and bone in Samoa on my lower back, and that bad boy hurt like all get out. The insides of my wrists were also fairly painful.

my ankle (not bad at all), my foot (hurt at the beginning, but wore off fairly quickly), the back of my neck (not really a problem at all), my shoulder (no big whoop), and my rear (hurt more then I thought it would, but not bad) did not hurt much at all compared to the lower back piece (which was so deep it bleed for 2 or 3 days and has actual scarring around it).

I get tats to remember the people, places, and things that have most profoundly affected me in my life. Like the Samoan tattoo, done in Samoa, is sacred as is my Maori and Indian pieces. They're all important and significant in their own ways and I love them all. (though I don't think at this point I'm looking at getting any more done any time soon.)

Labor is so much without doubt WORSE than a tattoo. Many humans suppose tattoo feels very similar to an ongoing cat scratch or bee sting. I might avert so much OTC discomfort meds like aspirin, tylenol, and Ibuprofen as they are able to skinny out the blood and make it less difficult to bleed out the ink. Reading meditating, speakme to a well buddy all aid hold you considering some thing rather than the tattoo procedure, simply take a seat truly nonetheless and it's going to be over earlier than you understand it :)

I've been told that the side (rib area) is the worst place. I was only told this after 4.5 hours of the most excruciating pain I've ever felt (even more so than giving birth) when I got my ink on my side. I'd do it again in a hot second, but it was as I said, more painful than giving birth.
A friend also told me that the top of the foot is extremely painful.

I've heard the less "fatty" areas are painful, no matter where it is...the more body fat you have then the less it hurts, also the closer to the bone the more it hurts..like if you get a tattoo on your collar bone versus the shoulder then it's gonna hurt more. The again if you have a high thresh hold for pain then it's not that big of a deal, if you can't take pain then no matter where you get it it'll hurt.

The boney parts of the body hurt the most during tattooing. There's no meat to take the needle on head to head. So straight to the bone is almost like getting stabbed.

I have 4 tattoos, 1 on EACH shoulder, 1 on my lower back and the last one on the top of my foot. I asked the tattoo artist what is more painful, he said the foot and the inside of your arm. I'm sure there are many more than that too!!

I have one on the back of my neck...didn't hurt at all. I would imagine the top of the foot, the throat area, and the bend of your knee...the back part. Just thinking about getting tattoos in these areas makes me cringe.

On the foot is def. the worst. I almost cried it hurt so much. My cousins gf got one on her foot 1 month after I did, and it made her foot swell to 2 its size for about a week.

Don't do it in the winter because you are not allowed to wear shoes for a week!

it depends on your pain tolerance level. personally, the top of the foot hurts a lot. but mine covers my whole foot. the back hurts as well. but not bad enough to not get tattooed there. i am currently working on a full back piece. everything worth something is painful.
