People would probably just shoot at the aliens. Praise Jesus and pass the ammunition!
I feel my point is proven by how A2Z responded to the suggestion that they might.
God has already been disproven, but no one listens. I argue with Christians all the time, and when I corner one in debate (I have yet to be cornered myself), they always either have a nervous breakdown or just get really, really pissed off and refuse to listen without refuting my argument. If the aliens are really super smart, they will just refuse to comment on religion if when a primitive race like humans asks about God.

Kucinich was right! Really though it would make no difference. Most people wouldn't believe the aliens. Some people have been saying all this for years, and would spend the rest of their life telling others "See, I told you so!" They would not accomplish or change anything, because the desire to be seen as right would take over their life. The 9/11 conspiracy, Holocaust deniers, and Kennedy assination nutjobs would band together to denounce this latest government conspiracy. A Youtube video entitled "Loose Strings" would declare that the alien spaceship was faked. "Gasoline doesn't burn hot enough to power space flight! Why hasn't the government released security videos from the 7-11 that was two blocks away from where the aliens landed?" The conservative elements would get upset, saying that these illegal aliens have no green card, and no right to be here on Earth or America. "They took our jerbs!" The politicians would say that their duties lie with "The American people, not these aliens!" Kinda like Mr. Obama did last night. The only difference you would notice if aliens came to Earth, no matter what they had to say, is that T-shirt companies would offer a new kind of shirt. We'd have Men's large/medium/small, Women's large/medium/small, Youth, and now Alien's one head/two head/three head size shirts.

First, people will believe whatever they want to, no matter who tells them information. If aliens told me there is no God, I would not believe them, and I doubt most true Christians would. I'm sure a lot of people would be swayed, but God is alive so religion (which is so loose a term these days anyway) will always be around. Just like the underground churches back in Biblical times and even today, people will go on worshipping and believing in God no matter what.

In your "hypothesis" you are assuming that we would accept these aliens as somehow superior to us, and that we would automatically assume they were right.
Besides most religions are already 'obsolete' in many ways. They still hang on to dogma and doctrines that have kept them at war with various non-believers or infidels for thousands of years. Space aliens would probably create new belief systems and religions, as humans are often very gullible and insecure when it comes to the 'Meta' physical.
Perhaps GOD or our spiritual High Point will exist as long as we choose, in spite of Religion, OR space aliens.

Your imagination is wishful thinking on your part. You do this so that you will be free from obligations to worship and pray to God. This imagination of yours is trying to let your conscience be at peace since it is troubled about God's existence. You should do a little soul searching for the truth instead of your imagination. Having fantasies just makes you move further from reality.

Religion would not cease because some fools would make the aliens their new gods. It would be called the religion of the SSDD.

most likely the muslims would make one finnal and massive push to keep there twisted and sick religion alive despite the words of these alien. and possibly some christian extremists. as for the waste of live due to religion, those willing to move forward would move past the savagry. but there will ALWAYS be the narrow minded people willing to believe in anything mystical to make themselves feel unique

Probably not; some would ask, "How would they know? Sure, they're aliens, but what makes them more enlightened in that respect than we are?"
