The proper way is to then cover the cork with a small towell, hold the cork firmly in one hand and, holding the bottle upright on a flat surface, twist the bottle ( not the cork). You may have to pull upward on the cork as you twist the bottle. You will get a soft pop when the cork comes out of the bottle. By using the towell the cork will not go flying off the hit someone in the eye. LOL

None of the above...

Grip the cork firmly, using a towel
Hold the cork still, and rotate the bottle. There is no need to push, or pull, the cork out the gas pressure from the inside will be sufficient to push it, once you loosen it.

D) none of the above...

The best way to open a bottle of champagne, is to twist off the wire hook, and hold/cover the cork loosly with your hand ( to prevent it from flying away and poking someone's eye out) and you actually twist the bottle itself gently....slowly and gently the cork should POP!

The more bottles you open, the more comfortable you will be doing this and the easier it will get.
Good luck!

The answer is a. Of course you put a thin towel over the top of the bottle and gentley push the cork upward. The towel will catch the cork. with answers b, c, and d the chances of "corking " the champagne is hgh. No one wants to drink Champange with cork in it.

B. And then turn the botttle, not the cork. I used to be a waiter and have open many bottles of champagne. Sometimes even for customers!
