The redness is due to the inflammatory process. So the best thing to do is to decrease the inflammation. 2 step.
1. Hold ice cube on the pimple for 10 min then pat gently to dry with clean towel.
2. Crush aspirin with back of a spoon and then mix the powder with a few drops of water until it looks like a paste. With clean fingers put this "paste" over the pimple and leave overnight.
Next morning.......Voila!! repeat next night

Abreva (OTC) in section with lip balms works fast and helps heal. If you need instant cover up then go to cosmetic dept. and get the eye concealer for red blotches(do not get the yellow, that's for dark under eye circles) Depending on how long ago this has been, next time remember to put on ice or a lemon tea bag moisted works very good. If you have a large pimple you can also put on prep-h oitment, that will reduce swelling and it also controls the redness. Hope that helps!

Try anything with zinc oxide in it, like diaper rash cream or sunblock. It works for the redness, but to heal it fast, use triple antibiotic like neosporin and keep it clean. Try not to touch it or sqeeze at it too. Balmex is a great diaper rash cream and Ive used it and the pimple was almost gone the next day. The redness was certainly gone.
Good Luck!

A dab of 1% hydrocortisone cream can help. I've tried Visine, it never really worked for me. It might work for you. Sometimes a bit of ice can reduce swelling and redness. Whatever you do, don't try to pop it. You'll just make it worse. If you really want professional help, you can head to a dermatologist. They can give you some sort of injection that will shrink it.

Visine, and cover it with 2 layers of concealer. First layer of green tinted concealer to neutralize the red, then a 2nd coat or regular concealer so you're not running around with a green dot on your face.

Cover it with blush or some other product. (It also depends on where the pimple was.)
