Some of us take our cell phones everywhere because we have children and we want to be able to be contact at any time anywhere if anything should happen to one of our children. Or, we are divorced and our children are with their father/mother, and we need to be able to be reached when the other parent is gonna just drop them off without warning.
However, I do find it rude if the person is going through the check-out line, or drive-thru line and continues to talk. Or if the person carries on a conversation loudly in public. It can be very annoying also.

I agree. And there is NO excuse for using the phone while driving. I don't care if the house is on fire, they need to pull over. I've seen 6 accidents in the last 2 weeks, caused by stupid phone users, one in which the silly girl wouldn't even get off the phone after she'd HIT someone!

Sometimes I get really annoyed because you think they're talking to you...until you realize that they have an ear piece and they're talking on the phone! Arrrgh!

As do I. there is a time and a place for everything. Having lunch with your ear piece still in your ear is just tacky. No one is that important.

as long as they aren't close to me , in anyway, they can talk as long as they want.i don't think cell phones should be used while driving, unless it's absolutely an emergency...it's too easily a distraction...

I don't need a phone attached to my body. The one exception I can think of is a Phone SALESPERSON!
