I make home made pits chips. It is easy and healthy.
1.take pita bread, i like the whole wheat or ones with flax seed but you can use plain white. Cut into triangles and open it up so they are single layer triangle.
2. spread them out on a baking sheet alternating top to bottom to fit more on the sheet.
3. In a small bowl mix extra virgin olive oil, Parmesan cheese, oregano, italian seasoning, garlic powder or salt, salt and pepper or what ever spices you have around anything will work.
4, Brush on the pita bread in light even coat bake in a preheated 350 degree oven about ten minutes or until golden brown. (my father likes them almost burnt.)
let them cool a bit and dip into hummus or babaganoush ( i think that's how you spell it. Its just like hummus but it has something else in it like lemon juice or something.)

I like it on bagels with some cucumber and sprouts, or by itself. Its also good on pita bread or chips. Maybe, with some feta cheese sprinkled on top. Delicious!
