I always take a shower before i go to bed because i dont have a lot of time in the morning. when i wake up it's frizzy, poofy and somewhat wavy. so far the only thing that's worked is straightening it, but i dont want to do that all the time. what products can i use either after i shower or in the morning that would make it nicer?

Frizz-Ease products by John Frieda are really great. They have a hair serum that you can put on while your hair is still wet. Has worked really well for my frizzies and my friend with really curly hair LOVES it. Wal-mart and most grocery stores carry some or all of the products. Hope this helps! :)

I have the same problem and my hair is some what curly, what I do after I shower at night is add a lil bit of hair shine ( you can buy at wall mart in the hair product section) and put it in a bun, in the morning it will be a bit damp and very silky and soft due to the hair shine, you can then style it by spraying it with a bit more water and a bit of gel, that will get pretty waves going.

Try Sunsilk products. These really make a difference. Also, look into purchasing a tourmaline 1875 hair dryer. You can get a Revlon or Helen of Troy brand. This is not very expensive and does a great job in calming the cuticles.

well wen u do straighten it wear it in a wrap to bed wrap it and wear a head scarf
wen u want ta go natural gel it or i find grease and water works just like gel w/o the drying damage n split ends that gel creates tcb is a good grease brand or try a heavier grease it will give u less body and more control make sure ur hair is wet before u apply the product shower in the morn or jus dip ur head in the shower towel dry n then apply

I suggest using a shine pommade. Spread a little on the tips of your fingers and run it through, focusing on the ends. It adds shine and helps control the frizz. Just use a light hand. Too much will make it look greasy.

Go to bed sooner, get up sooner, shower then, you'll smell better too.
