Maybe I should of just added on what is the reason for the nausa, lightheadedness and cramping after dialysis. This was not an issue the first time on the machine but now it is not a very happy situation and I'm getting worried why all this. Can't hardly eat anymore, taste is different. My common-law husband is the one on dialysis, I even thought of giving him my kidney but we are not compatiable but he looks more weaker everytime he comes home now. the answer from the Dialysis RN for over 18 years was more understandable, thank you. I don't think I need any more answers but if I do or even advise, that will be greatly appreciated, thank you again for the answers....funny face.

You should call Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. They have a procedure for transplant even without complete compatibility. I heard that most people that don't live long after dialysis is because of undernourishment. He really needs to make sure he is getting enough nourishment.

i dont understand your question. indicators are for ailments and dialysis is a clinical care. yet when your inquiring for the hazards that contain dialysis, then there is diverse type of dialysis: peritoneal dialysis contains the peritoneum used as a membrane for electrolytes replace, more effective fluid elimination and and so on. that is continually achieved 6 to twelve hours. maximum difficulty-loose problem for this type is an infection hemodialysis is achieved by technique of passing sufferers blood via a synthetic kidney, prevalent as dialyzer, for filtration, electrolyte stability, more effective fluid elimination & and so on. it in a lot of situations takes 3 to 4 hours. because it takes shorter compared to peritoneal, issues are more effective or might want to i say significantly pronounce. e.g. hypotension considering that a technician or a nurse is taking fluid from the plasma compartment in such short era, cramps considering that plasma compartment is straight away depleted with fluid as suggested above, lack of ability of the fluid contained in the intertitial to replenished it in short era. obviously those issues can genuinely be prevented if pt will adhere to fluid obstacles (a million liter in line with day). different issues are an infection, nausea and vomiting (is in a lot of situations a compensatory mechanism of the body for the hypotension). i'm hoping i replied your question
