Take a walk out in society---the black women that I usually see that are single:
1. have children (aka, met a jerk who left her pregnant)
2. OR are very well educated, and dress in a sophisticated manner
3. OR DONT shake it like Beyonce and whomever else on BET
If a man (black or otherwise) dates a black woman, what does he REALLY expect from her??

OK, so are you for or against dating black women?
Statistically speaking, there are more single white females with kids in this country sucking off the government tit, welfare, SSI and the likes. Go to the heartland of America. There are a lot of trailer trash white chicks.
You can't judge all black women by what you see in the ghetto. There are many quality black women with good educations and goals out there.
Look at Condie Rice, our Secretary Of State.... Now there is one classy and intelligent women!

In my opinion, I feel that some black women, mostly strong and independant black women aren't respected by many men, and not just black. I think it's like an intimidation to men period. Most men do only like to be with women who are submissive to certain stereotypes. For example, like women who are willing to let men treat them any way so that they can have better things in life, like cars, money, houses, etc. Also, the type of women who feel that if they don't do everything possible to please a man, that he will possibly leave them and they don't want to be alone. Men like women who they can dominate, and honestly many single black women with the qualities you listed, are unattractive to them because they don't degrade themselves. The main turnoff for them is lack of control overall. That's just my take on it.

It depends on the guy and their lifestyle as to what they expect. It's all in what class of person you are and what class of person you want to be with. Remember, water attracts it's own level. My guy and I share similar intellect, morals etc. Best wishes!

well dis is a african american man talking on my girls yahoo and well we don't expect that out of a woman they expect a loving and caring girl who beautiful inside and out not no hoe personally i like to mess with hoes but those aint the ones i bringing home to momma.
