LOL..all human beings is making this so complicated. Get 2 alligator clips (easily you do no longer even % those in case you have a buddy to seem on the brake lighting fixtures fixtures mutually as you are attempting this), placed something heavy on the brake pedal to hold it down (or have yet another buddy step on the brake), take a quick piece of twine and via bypass the fuses until eventually something lighting fixtures fixtures up, there is your brake fuse. value to attempt, no longer something (in case you have a three inch twine mendacity around), who desires a number of those fancy "circuit testers" any way?? Replace the fuse anyway. Check the brake light switch which the pedal compresses. Try pushing it in by hand all the way.
Usually the fuses under the hood are only for trailer towing packages and would be for the trailer wire plug in.

take a test light and test it at the brake light switch OK its going to need one if the fuses are good, it must be hot at both wires when the pedal is in the down position OK, one hot with the pedal not pushed OK, and it may just needs an adjustment and no parts OK, good luck I know you can do it

find the brake switch under the dash on the brake pedal arm. Unplug it then take a paperclip and jump accross the terminals on the plug, if the lights come on then the switch is the problem, if not then you have a real electric issue fuse relay etc

Did you check the bulbs? Also you should check the wiring at the connections at the back by the lights. Also check the switch under the brake pedal itself. Good Luck

There are more fuses under the hood on some vehicles too. Also maybe the relay went.
