To put it in easy terms, if you were my child I would ground you for three years, answer your question?

I think it would be yes, you are from then onwards playing with your parents emotions and considering that if they do happen to be homophobic and do not like the idea of you being gay - when they find out it was all a joke and you were pretending, they might have second thoughts, if u know wot i mean.

not dangerous. But if your parents love you .. it wouldn't matter your sexuality. But don't put them through any torture.. because they would automatically think they couldn't have grandchildren.. nothing wrong with being gay.. i have lots of friends that are.. so don't use them as the excuse for finding out if you are loved. Just ask them outright.

I feel for you.. never knew really if i was loved as a child..but know i am now.

Why would you do something as desperate as that?
Did you live in the same house with them since you were born?
If the answer is YES, then THEY LOVE YOU!!
Do you have any idea how NOT easy is to have a baby and see him/her grow up?
Every sleepless night, every extra hour in work they did in order for you to have what is needed in life is a silent declaration of love.
Don't put your parents through that .... unless you are gay for real!!

I think it is a ridiculous idea!Parent have unconditional love, so even if you were gay, they would still love you, I'm sure they would probably be dissapointed, but that's definitely not a fair test to see whether they love you. I'm sure they do love you, and it is sad that you actually doubt in their love, but rather think about talking to them, telling them you love them, and see what they say back, or just straight forward ask them. It would save you a lot of trouble and humiliation!

If you were my kid and did that, I would lose my trust in you. I'd never be really sure that anything you said in the future was true or just a "test." That would be a terrible kind of relationship to have between parents and child.

Why would you do this to your parents? I wouldn't advise it, unless you want to lose the trust and repect of your parents. I'm sure that your parents will love you no matter what, but this is a silly thing to do

don't worry about when you do it--worry about the aftermath. I did it with my parents...and it was hard getting them to believe I'm seriously not gay. Have a plan to prove you're not gay if you're bold enough to still go through with it. Good luck sweetheart

I believe you're not matured and also not a christian, you'll then know that LOVE chastises.
Your parents may not approve on a lot of stuff about you, including being a gay but it has no relation to love.

Do you want your parents to accept you sniffing cocaine(drug addict) or robbing just because they love ya?

The problem is, if you aren't, they will think you lied to them. OR, they will always think you really are gay and just hiding it. I doubt that it is dangerous... but I don't think it is a smart idea.
