Every time I shave my legs, I end up with one of three things. The first is red irritated spots/bumps all up and down my leg. The second is cuts. It's as if I'm a human sacrifice or something. The the third is itchy dry skin. It doesn't matter what kind of razer blade I use, nothing seems to work! Please, can somebody give me a remedy so I won't fear the pain of this awful taks anymore?!

Wax it off.

Waxing is the best way and it lasts the longest. Nair can irritate and leave bumps. Razors irritate and cut, as you know. It doesn't hurt to wax after the first time. It actually weakens the hairs and they grow back less.
It is best to have it done at a salon until you can learn how to do it yourself. It costs more than shaving but you will do it less frequently. Also use Lubriderm oat lotion or baby magic for really smooth legs.

heyy !! heres a suggestion

If you dont like shaving your legs, have you tried waxing? it may be more pain (depends on your leg hairs: thick or thin ?) but, you don't get razor burns or cuts and the plus side is that waxing actually makes your leg hairs thinner.

It takes a longer time for waxed hairs to grow back in, the difference could be an extra week (depends on your body). Shaving gives thicker and ingrown hairs and the hairs grow in faster.

OR

If you want to stick to shaving your leg hair then pick a good shaving cream. Shave carefully and youll be surprized to find less cuts. After shaving rinse and moisturize your legs with body lotion. Baby lotion works best for me but their are other lotions that help your legs regain moisture and vitamins or sumthing like that.

waxing. It hurts, I won't lie. But it leaves your legs smooth for like a month. But if you have a lot of free time, try the cream. I usually use Nair or Veet when I can't wax. You apply it, then leave it on for 10 minutes, and take the cream off. Then the hair comes of with it. Don't forget to shower after it to remove all excess cream...and because it smells really bad.

I used to shave the top part of my thighs and i got the bumps so i stopped shaving there. You cant see any hair there anyway. If you shave in the direction the hair is growing that helps, also use a new razor whenever possible. Maybe switch to Nair, thats ouchless and no blood. As far as lotion try oil of olay body lotion, you use it in the shower and wash it off. When you get done try aveeno. Theres so many good products, you might just have to try them to get your own results

Have you tried using shaving gel or really good soap on your legs to shave with, and lotioning afterwords? Or better quality razors could help, too, if you get cheap ones.

You could also try waxing or sugaring your legs instead. Sugaring is similar to waxing, but very cheap and fairly easy to do at home. http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/self/432 is the first website recipe for it I found, but it can also be heated in the microwave until it begins turn darker. Just make sure you use a huge bowl, as it expands a ton!!!

Try using shaving cream, or go in the shower get your legs wet put soap on your legs and then shave, or try waxing. If those things don't work try Laser Hair Removal, lol, can't believe I just suggested that.

if you cant shave i'd suggest Nair or Veet, or waxing, but waxing hurts alot! if you have spots/bumps its probs an allergic reation to the shaving cream or soap ur using, cuts is because you prob shave too fast, take ur time, and when you get to shaving ur knee and down keep ur leg straight and go slowly, and if you have rashes it may be... if you play any sport with shin gaurds it could be the guards not the shaving but if you dont play a sport like that i suggest going to the docter and asking them what they think it is... and i dont no but i thought you might wanna know that you shave up not down, like ancles slowly to ur thighs, and use shaving cream or soap, and make sure ur legs are wet and you have used a lofa b4 u shave... good luck :D

Well, you can try getting your legs waxed. Personally it's the only thing I'll do anymore. Razors would always irritate my skin. There is also laser hair removal, but that's pretty expensive.

Now try to imagine shaving your face every day! Just use a good shaving cream in the shower and go slowly.

The first one is right, try waxing. But if you decide to use a cream, beware of Nair because I have heard that it leaves irritation and redness.
