Perhaps... though the last time I tried to talk to people and make friends, I was emotionally hurt, so I won't be trying that again... be careful who you trust.

Yes, I am sure this is why...I have a ton of friend because I am a very outspoken friendly smiling person..and I know I dont enjoy talking to people who frown and look sad or look like they are having to force themselves to talk to me....

So, next time your involved in a convo with a group...put in your imput....it matters:) come out of that shell

yeh,
you have to communicate, you need to be proactive in making friends. If you dont talk, people will not talk to you, Try talking during lunch or something, or talk to someone else who looks antisocial, i bet you one of those will work.

you have to be a friend to have a friend. Maybe you are just shy, try talking to one person at first and then build your confidence up, you will notice people who are interested in talking to you, give a try. good luck
