I have to say that if you have bad credit, you probably shouldn't have a credit card. Unless, of course, your bad credit is from doing something like co-signing on a loan for an irresponsible person..... Regardless, I'm sure if you got online and typed in "credit card bad credit" into yahoo you'd have all kinds of companies wanting to give you a card. They want to do this because they can charge you a horribly high interest rate, knowing that you are probably only going to make the minimum payment, and you'll end up paying back ten times more than you charged.

Don't use the so called credit repair scams companies (which is about all they are). If your old bills are now paid you can get a credit card eventually. If they are not paid off than you don't need one:). A credit company which offers you credit with a bad credit history usually only load you your own money.. For example you deposit 500 dollars with them. they give you 500 dollars credit supposely building your credit up. than they deduct interest, special charges, insurance, and you end up with 200 bucks of your own $500 if you are lucky you can use as credit.
The best and safetest way to rebuild credit is to pay your bills. I fyo have to have a card use a debit card., no penatilites, interest (unless you over charge than it's an insufficient funds charge.).
You have ot know that if you can't put the money in the bank to use on your debit card than you would not be able to pay off the credit card if you had one.
That would only make things worse.
Best to pay of fyour bills and beleive me you'll get all fo the cards you want and more.

If you have bad credit, the last thing you need is another credit card. How do you think you got bad credit in the first place?

Get a prepaid credit card, or get a checking account with a bank card, or get one of those high rate secured credit cards.
