No the Bible is not magic...
It is a historical, prophetic, personal diaries, it has poems, love stories, letters, action adventure.
So the 66 books are for us to read about how our creator
sees things, and how he deals with them or will deal with them soon to come.
Not magic my dear.....

Ask a satanist wot 1 thing can disrupt their activities, they'll answer- "PRAYER!" Its not magic in terms of black & white, nor is the bible a book of magic spells. God set the universe up 2 work a certain way, wot u give out, u get back, karma, wot eva u wanna call it, but that aint magic. God's the real deal, satan can only copy, thats y satan calls it magic. Black or white magic? Both hav the same master. God's Word is not magic, its the truth.

Mostly I believe that the events in the Bible were based on something that had a societal value at the time - a moral beneficial to many for example. From there, I believe that many stories grew like a good fish tale where the guppy grows into the whale. I don't consider that magic. I consider it exaggeration, and suspect at certain points in time, manipulation.

Depends on what you mean by magic.

Magic to me is calling onto unseen creatures to do super human things for u when u cant do them urself.

Which makes magic akin to asking for assitance other than God.

which makes that akin to looking upto anyone for better help than God.

and that makes God look like an appendage more or less than a Guide and the Creator.

The original bible was God sent so it cant contain magic...

but am not so sure about the current one(s)

??

Depends on your definition of Magic...

Of course in Samuel there is a woman who can speak to the dead that Saul talks to, however Saul is rebuked for partaking in this act.

Some would consider Jesus casting out demons to be magic, however you would have to consider Jesus merely man to believe this was magic.

The disciples are involved in laying on of hands for healing, however, once again this is not magic because they ask G-d to do the healing and he can choose whether or not he does (Paul documents a time G-d chose not to heal himself and another).

But i would say that the Catholic and some Pentecostle churches are involved with a lot of magic...But none of it is Biblical. Most of the places people point to me that claim they show magic either have G-d condeming it (Saul, Pharoh in Egypt, etc...) or they are mixed up about what is really happening.

Turning water into wine seems like magic to me. Not to mention feeding the multitudes with a couple of fish and a few loaves of bread.

I think that there are "stories" about magic. Kind of like harry potter, but not as well written or entertaining.

Perhaps that is why they try so hard to get it banned.
