If there's a package, read it.

If not...a 12 pound turkey is about 3-4 hours I think.

15/20 minutes per pound. Remember to cook it upside down, and turn it over for the last hour, you will not need to baste.

It's one hour, for every two lbs.@ aprox. 350F.
Tip: cook your turkey, breast side down. (like the bird is flying) This allows the juices to flow through the white meat, and keeps the white meat juicy.

The turkey usually comes with a thermometer that pops when it's done.

20 min per lb @ 350 or until juices run clear or until meat thermometer reaches 180 when inserted into the meatiest part of the breast. (make sure it does not touch the bone).
