Sometimes I feel like you do.
One day when I was about 16 my parents split and the guy I liked I found with someone else.
I went for a long walk and out of earshot of everybody I screamed up at God. And then I broke down crying. After I had cried all the tears that could cry a still small voice(in my head) said to me. "I am right here with you just like I was next to my Son while he was hanging on a tree for you. Even though He couldn't feel me near Him then I still was there just like I am here." God doesn't always "Talk" to us like that but He always hears us. I will say a prayer for you now. Hope it helps to know this.

He knows. He hears. You need to trust in Him.
A country song came out a few years ago that said some of God's greatest gifts were unanswered prayers.
You may think you know what you want Him to do for you, but only He knows what is best.
Have faith. Don't despair. Read the book of Job, he felt a lot like you sound right now.

Talk to God? yes he listens. How many people do you think pray to him and ask for something from him. No body just prays to Him in His praise. Every one is usually asking for some gift. So when you fold your hand and say please God I want a car or a GF or whatever He is surely listening That you take for granted but he will not talk to you. You want your prayer heard before others write to me I will give you the way to pray so you can feel you have been heard

It takes faith to believe that he is l listening to you. God will not always talk back to you. IF HE does speak to you in the bible it says he speaks in a still small voice. IF you have any doubt at all it will be really hard to hear God.

He is listening friend, He just doesn't usually answer out loud. If you are praying for something specific, He may not seem to answer when you don't get what you asked for but He sees the big picture and knows what is best for you. Keep talking to Him, He loves you and is listening.

Sometimes we cant hear from God beacuse we dont listen enough, take more time to pray and wait to hear from him, if that means fasting from tv or the internet for a while to do it, do it. Sometimes God feels futher then the moon, and sometimes he feels closer then my skin.
My youth pastor said that.
How do you know he hears you...the fact that he said he dose in his word. He dosent have to awnser you for you to be able to tell him things.
The times we hear God the least, we grow the most, its the point when God sees if we will follow him even through the driest times in our lives, Stand strong and take Courage, if you stay in the word, and keep folowing God, you will make it through. 100% garuinteed.

Isayah1:15 When you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.
Isayah 59:1-2, 7-8—
1 Behold, Yahweh's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.
2 But your own iniquities have separated you from your Father; and your own sins have caused Him to hide His face from you, so He will not listen.
7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 They do not know the way of peace, and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever walks on them will not know peace.
John 9:31 Now we know that Yahweh heareth not sinners: but if any man reverences Yahweh, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Trust in your heart because he truly is listening. find a quiet place and rid your mind of senseless thought and distractions pray be still and quiet and wait. Sometimes the answer will manifest itself at a later time or a thought will enter you or He could be saying no if your asking for something fruitless.

it could be the condition of your heart--- I don't know you but God does. Do you trust Him and believe in Him with all your heart? Do you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength? Did you welcome Jesus into your heart and make Him your Lord and Savior? Jesus is our "bridge" that would lead us to God. Are you living according to God's will and purposes for your life?
Do you know God's true nature? You have to really know Him intimately before you can hear from Him. Do you read the Bible?
Don't get me wrong-- I am not insulting you-- I'm just helping you to figure out as to why you are having that question in your mind. *smile*

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Psalms 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Don't put deadlines and time limits on God. Allow your heart to open up to Him, for that is where He will speak to you. You will know what it is He is saying, for you will feel it from inside your heart.
Father,
I lift up this person to you who is in need of hearing your glorious words of encouragement. i ask that you make your voice clear and to show them what it is you want from them. I ask that you bless them and keep them safe, and not to let satan confuse them with time limints on your reponse to their prayer requests. Fill their heart with total peace, and love, and bring their heart to completion through your word that they can get from the bible I praise you Father, and give you all the glory for leading this person into your lighted path. In the preicous name of Jesus, amen
God loves you and He does hear you. Sometimes we need to be quiet long enough to be able to hear what it is He is saying to us. Be patient. I will continue to pray for you.
God bless you always.
