You had it right out of the horse's mouth. He's not ready to be married.

If he isn't ready then you need to back off talking about it. Give him the space and the fun that a relationship needs. It doesn't have to be so serious and being a fiance is the worst thing in the world to be. If you force him to marry you then you will be a divorcee sooner than you would like. If you keep nagging him about it it just pushes him away. If you give him an untamatom you could be alone. Enjoy your life either way and trust that he isn't ready yet! I would put a time restraint of 1 year, if it don't work move on.

You should take a break from the relationship. If you are living together move out. Don't call each other. Hang out with your friends, do your own thing, go on a date (but he gets to also). Just live like you are moving on. If it's meant to be, it will be. If he really loves you your absence will help him to see that. Meanwhile, you will figure out if marriage to him is what you really want. Don't get married if you are not sure it's what you both want. You will just be signing on to years of unhappiness. Hope this helps.

Your fiance is probably having second thoughts about marrying. If he wasn't ready, or if he's afraid of commitment, he shouldn't have asked you. Tell him that it's time to make a decision, because neither of you are getting any younger and you can't keep putting your life on hold for this.

Actually I would just end it - b/c if you make him set a date you are starting your marriage on a bad footing. He will only resent you later for forcing him to marry you. I hate to say it but it would be doomed from the start.

He asked you to marry him so he could buy some more time without actually getting married.

Good luck honey.

talk to him about it. You need to move on and let him finish maturing. The same thing is happening to me and I gave him an ultimatum. WE're getting married in two years because if we're not, I'm gone. FInd out why he's pushing it back.

look at the situation and talk to him about it if he is not ready and you truley feel that he is the one for you then maybe it is worth the wait some times people make quick decisions without really thinking of what it will mean to them and those they love be honest and foward with him and you will both be on the same page good or bad.

I think you should drop the issue. You don't want to pressure anyone to marry you. However, if marriage is what you are looking for then you need to stop wasting your time with someone who is not sure he wants to spend the rest of his life with u.

just give up. he is either cheating or doesn't want to marry you anymore. maybe changed his mind. or maybe family doesn't want him to marry you. who knows. it's been long enough. if he asked you to marry him, and is now pushing the date back, he obviously doesn't want to get married to you. i hate to sound rude and all. but it is the truth. i hope you don't hate what i've just told you. i hope i didn't make you sad. But the truth hurts sometimes. Sorry.
