I live in NYC, and I have seen weddings take place in Central Park. I am not sure the requirements, or who you need to call but yes you can get married there. You will probably need to have two friends/relatives as witnesses too. It is kind of cutting it close for the date... so get right on it and make sure you are wearing warm clothes! :) Also make sure you have the appropriate paper work and have gotten in touch with a minister/justice of the peace in the area who is willing to conduct the ceremony there. Good luck and congradulations!!

well it can't just be the two of you, you need a minister or justice of the peace and witnesses. I don't see why not it's not like you're gonna have a full blown ceremony, as far as people know you're just standing around talking unless you're planning on dressing up to the tee with the dress and tux and all. When in doubt I'd see if you can get a hold of park services for Central Park and ask them. Congrats!

I live elswhere - Aus- BUT you had best check on requirements for witnesses - i know that here you must have 2 aged 18+++
so you may have to have 4 people - both of you + witnesses; you could always just ask people passing by to sign

It is--but you might be a little late to figure it out. Make sure you get in touch with the central park conservancy...they might be able to help you.

Good luck!
