Trust me, they looked ridiculous last week too.

Were they taken in by Haggard, or by what he told them? People will only believe that which they're prepared to believe, so presumably Pastor Ted was only telling them what they wanted to hear.

"No such thing as god" is definitely not what your average evangelical wants to hear.

it's not the atheists job to protect us Christians from pretentious leaders.
God never lets somebody that is hypocritical to stay in power for long. the truth always comes out. He said in his word, that things in the dark will be brought to light

parrot-i wouldn't have believed if you just told me without trying to present some facts to back up your accusations. if you showed me evidence that a Christian leader fell then i would pray and consider

Oh, what, it's the atheists job to babysit evangelicals? It's the atheists responsibility to tell Haggard "now... we know you're preaching against this... but really... we think you should consider NOT doing the exact thing that you condemn... mkay?"

Riiiiight.

They're a bit preoccupied with ignoring God.I know this: There will be no atheists on Judgment Day.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Ha. It's not like you would actually listen to us. What if I tried to tell you that Ted Haggard was "phony" a week ago? Would you believe me?

Why aren't Buddhists doing more to protect vulnerable meat-eaters from contracting e-coli from infected, undercooked hamburgers?

NOW do you see how nonsensical your question is?

Why on this good green Earth should atheists protect them from their own gullibility and misplaced trust?

you know-- by your question, you are telling us you know nothing about life. Atheists and Christians do not mix---

Come up with better questions, so you can get better answers.

Some of us are working very hard to expose this type of fraud.

Like what? They (Christians) get angry whenever you tell them anything contrary to their beliefs.
