Don't tell me. You've got an email from that address saying you've won a prize in the Irish Lottery when you didn't even buy a ticket?
You've got to contact their agent who will ask you to send money to Nigeria via western union or moneygram for "administration fee" or "tax" or "handling fee"

Its a 419 Advance Fee Fraud.

Fraud 100%, anyone that sends you an email saying you have won something out of nowhere is fraud, the only things you can win are things you sign up for yourself.

Fraud. Unless they have an email from an official website with cited references, then it's a fraud.

SPAM.! It is not even fraud. If you sent anyone money because of an e-mail, you deserve to loose it. No one in their right mind should sent money for anything!
If you won, tell them to deduct it or get stuffed.
Where is the government to help us to protect us from such arseholes.

The best e-mail I got is..
Hallo I am prince ---- from Nigeria. My father was assassinated and left me with $200m. I chose you to go to be my business partner....

Ha,Ha...
