Islam.
Because it makes sense.
Everything about Islam is good. I think the best part is the message of equality of all men and women that it brought in the 7th century. :)

I am Methodist. born that way, raised that way. My dad is a minister. I looked into other religions, but I guess I am a Methodist.
I live my life as best I can and I know that I am forgiven. You are baptised and washed of your sins as a baby and at 13 you take confirmation classes and confirm your belief.
we celebrate Passover and Shavout and the other basic holidays, Christmas, Easter, etc.. , but we aren't as strict as other religions..i.e. Catholic.
Methodists broke away from the Protestants who broke away from the Catholics, but we still do some things the same. Methodists were originally a travelling ministry, meant to bring God to the Godless and Lawless lands of the Old West, and are still to an extent today. As I was growing up, we never stayed in one place very long because dad always had to go to another parish to be the new minister. Hence, we moved a lot and I didn't spend a whole lot of time in one school. I think the longest we ever stayed at one parish was seven years.
I can't really give you a good teaching, we are taught that Jesus was the Light and the Way and he was born and died for us. We focus more on the parables and teachings of Jesus than on the old Testament. I look at it as a" teaching" not a "preaching" style.

I'm a Christian, Southern Baptist at birth, now sort of non-denominational since the Baptists went so conservative. In all honesty, any religion that conflicts with what the Bible teaches I avoid.
Some good teachings? I think some of the best advice is the most practical. Spend 6 days working, and spend one day relaxing and worshipping. Make a point to have your work done in 6 days, work sun-up to sun-down every day, then on the Sabbath, take a break.
Just doing that has shaped the schedule and flow of our home, it has made me healthier having that one day a week to purposefully relax, it has made me happier to have my family around me that one day a week, and it does my soul good too.

I was raised Catholic, and had to learn how to fight to go to school and back home just to survive when I was a kid. I consider myself a Christian, although I come to realize I don't need a religion to communicate with God, I am spiritual.
I am who I am, God teach me a lot through life experiences, I am who I am.

I read bhagwat gita ( holy book of hindus) today, it is the first time, i read it. Actually I read it in my language when i was in school, i could not quite understand then, but now it seemd pretty good. It says about reincarnations, to be good, praise the al lpowerful lord. God speaks of many ways to live life happily and selfless at the same time. Actually Gita is only holy book which is spoken by lord, all others holy books were interpretattions of god's word by great people.

Well, I don't Have a religion.
I have Reality.
I did not Choose it, HE chose Me.
I was almost Dead and HE Tempted me to Call out on HIM for Help!
I Fell for it.
I called Out and JESUS Answered.
I was Instantly Born-Again and Strength (mental, physical, SPIRITUAL) came into My Being.
I have been Living for Jesus ever since.
Teachings?
My oh my, Jesus has Taught me Alot.
All Good.
All Truth.
I don't know, I guess one of the Best is that, no matter Who you Are, or What you got Into or not, Jesus (The Creator) Loves You!
If you can at Least Try to Believe that, then that will Open up a Door for Jesus to Show you that HE is REAL.
Hope this Helps.

Genesis 3:1-7—
1 Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any beast of the field which Yahweh had made. And she said to the woman; Has Yahweh indeed said: You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said to the serpent; We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Yahweh has said: You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, or you will die.
4 And the serpent said to the woman; You will not surely die.
5 For Yahweh knows that in the day you eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, your eyes will be opened, and you will be as gods (elohim), knowing righteousness and evil.
6 So when the woman saw that the tree was desirable for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they had sinned; they had violated Yahweh's Laws. Because they had not kept Yahweh's Laws, they were afraid.
Revelation 12:9—
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. She was cast out into the earth, and her angels were cast out with her.
Notice, Genesis 3:7 shows that they sinned. The Theological Word Book of the Old Testament by Harris, Archer and Waltke Volume 2, page 695, shows that the Hebrew root word oram, which was translated naked in the King James Version, is correctly translated sin. Sin is the transgression or breaking of Yahweh's Laws.
I Yahchanan 3:4—
Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law.
Isa 8:20 To the law and to the prophecy: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
1 TIMOTHY 3:15
But if I am delayed, I write so that you may know the right and proper way to conduct yourself in THE HOUSE OF YAHWEH, who are the called out ones of the living Father, the pillar and ground of the truth.

I am a Born Again Christian and a strong Believer of the Bible and My Lord Savior Jesus Christ. I choose this because he is the one true living God. Plus, He heals with Prayers in his own time. Plus I love to fellowship with other believers.

I am a Jehovah's Witness. I chose it because they are not in any way prejudice. They are not divided nationalistically. They teach the whole Bible and nothing but the Bible and they love one another. It took me 8 years to convert but I am convinced that they are God's chosen people.

Adam and Eve were not the only ones who sinned and brought God’s curse upon the earth. “The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.” (Isa.24:5-6, New International Version)
However, God does not wish people to end up only in damnation. That is why even in the beginning He had already a plan for their well-being.
What is this plan of God since the beginning of time for the welfare of the people He created? In Ephesians 1:9-10, Apostle Paul says: “God did what he had purposed, and made known to us the secret plan he had already decided to complete by means of Christ. This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head.” (TEV) Why is it that it is with Christ as head that God, according to His plan, has intended all creation to be brought together? Because it is Christ whom God has chosen to redeem them through Christ’s blood for them to obtain forgiveness of sins: “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” (Eph. 1:7, NIV)
It should be recalled that man descended into his present pathetic plight – his life and livelihood are cursed, and he is appointed to suffer eternal perdition on Judgment Day – because of his sins. Hence, the only way for him to get out of this condition and experience the good plan that God has in store for him is to be redeemed and forgiven. But how can man have Christ as his head and thus benefit from redemption and remission of sins? Ephesians 1:22-23 states: “He has put all things under his feet, and made him, as the ruler of everything, the head of the Church; which is his body, the fullness of him who fills the whole creation.” (Jerusalem Bible)
