i have blonde almost dirty blonde hair and i want to get highlights, i was wondering if i should have dark blonde highlights or light blonde.
what would look better???

if you want your hair to appear lighter get the dark ones, but your hair stylest should know what would look good or not ask him or her

i would suggest that you should get a little bit of lighter highlights and a shade or two darker lowlights as well. You will get the nice effect with this as i did this a few times with my hair. I have the same natural hair colour as yours and i got some bleach blonde highlights with a nice deep red lowlights and a few shades of darker brown in it as well and i have never loved my hair this much.

If you want it to look more natural, go with the darker ones. If you want it to stand out, go with the lighter ones. Actually, I think you might want to try getting lowlights that are a darker dirty blonde or caramel color. That would look really cute. Hope I helped!

Why is everyone with blond, why can't you just have jet black hair with some blonde or blonde curly hair with some jet black hair. Now you don't have to choose.
