*I* can't. I don't know you, your dog, and I don't have any Tetra to give you, not that I would.
If your dog has an ear infection, your vet needs to prescribe something. This is urgent. Your dog could go deaf.

Important information
Do not use tetracycline if you are pregnant. It could cause harm to the unborn baby, including permanent discoloration of the teeth later in life. Tetracycline can make birth control pills less effective. Use a second method of birth control while you are taking this medicine to keep from getting pregnant. Tetracycline passes into breast milk and may affect bone and tooth development in a nursing baby. Do not take this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Do not give this medicine to a child younger than 8 years old. Tetracycline can cause permanent yellowing or graying of the teeth, and it can affect a child's growth.
Avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). Tetracycline can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and sunburn may result. Use a sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) and wear protective clothing if you must be out in the sun.
Do not take iron supplements, multivitamins, calcium supplements, antacids, or laxatives within 2 hours before or after taking tetracycline. These products can make this medicine less effective.
Throw away any unused tetracycline when it expires or when it is no longer needed. Do not take this medicine after the expiration date on the label has passed. Expired tetracycline can cause a dangerous syndrome resulting in damage to the kidneys.

You can't give a dog any human dose of Tetracycline, but you can give the Tetracycline for animals. This medication is given to fight bacterial infections and the dosage is 10 mg. per lb. every 8 hours.Your pets can also be treated with The meds Otomax for a ossible yeast infection within the ears.Cleane pets ears with a drop or two or hydrogen peroxide, let stand a few seconds and remove excess with a clean Qtip, but don't stick in ear too far.

I have a son, Joey Niceforo, who is a young 27 year old tenor, with a group called "DESTINO" recording in Vancouver Bc, Canada.
For the last few weeks Joey has had a cold. Just a few days ago he developed an ear ache, a swollen ear and loss of hearing. He was diagnosed with serous otitis media (middle ear infection).
The major concern we have is that Joey and the Group DESTINO have been booked to open the Marie Osmond show in Disney World on April 3,
Have a quick remedy for our son??
Joey's ear got better just before flying.
He also got the special ear plugs for flying, and arrived in Florida, from Vancouver, on April 1st. On April 2nd he told us the ear was almost 100 percent, and he will, with the other, great DESTINO tenors be performing, in the COLORADO BALL ROOM DISNEY WORLD tonight at 7 pm.
This help was so effective, and helpful, to our young Canadian tenor, Joey Niceforo. I'm sure this input and therapy advice will, and has helped others.

I would not give your dog anything without first contacting your vet. Tetracycline is not the best antibiotic for ears. Contact your vet for an appointment. They will be able to show you how to do ear cleanings on your dog and prescribe the proper medication

Ive had dogs with chronic ear infections for many years....they have always been prescribed drops, not antiobiotics. Drops are either Zimox or Tresaderm. I dont really know if an internal antiobiotic will help with an ear infection as they are usually caused by yeast or mites.

Do not medicate the dog yourself. Tetracycline has it's place, but should NOT be used in certain instances. It really does not help for an ear infection either.
SEE A VET!!!

Antibiotic ear drops are given for an ear infection. Tetracycline is given by mouth.
Please see the vet for the correct ear drops.

We were given a clear gooey topical ointment for our dogs ear infection. It is not a good idea to give dogs people medicine or human doses of antibiotic because it can be very hard on their organs. I think the prescription was about $40. It worked really quick. DOn't mess around with trying to find a way to cure it, do it the right way, you may risk damaging its hearing if you don't. Take care.
