I am specically asking about girls. I have yet to hear or meet a girl with the syndrome. I have seen some boys with it. If so tell me about them please.

I have met several girls with aspergers. They are however, the minority, as is the case with the entire autistic spectrum, as well as developmental delays in general. My son, who has autism and attends a private school with 24 other autistic students. Of the 24 students, three are female. They tend to behave the same, display the same symptomology and have the same abilities and difficulties.

My children went to school with a girl who had Aspergers Syndrome about 3 years ago which would be in the 6th grade. I am not exactly sure what they syndrome does, but she seemed pretty normal. Bascially could not get organized in school. Did not make the best decisions - we lived in a foreign country and she stole some ice cream from the grocery store.
I too have a child with severe ADHD and it is difficult - I pray everyday that I don't get a call from the school and please let my child get through this day without having some issue.

My child has a girlfriend with Aspergers. She is a really nice girl(13yrsold). She repeats herself alot, asking the same questions. She is a quiet girl who does not like to talk to strangers and has a hard time concentrating at school. Other than that she is fully functional in the world and we like her alot.

I do know of a girl with aspergers but that is all I am prepared to tell you. Its not fair to talk about people without their knowledge.
