Yes I think so, we would like to think that as we come up with this new technology that we are becoming smarter than our ancients but I to an extent believe the exact opposite

I do.

I feel this sense enhancement in the wild as well. I have heard that before people had telephones and things like that they could communicate with thoughts and dreams. It makes you wonder doesn't it?

No a lot of people for some reason or another are unable to take landmarks and get lost easily. I have very low vision and can get lost going to the toilet

Yes but your Friends senses can't be enlivened in the right consciousness. He is in Gods nature and all he wants to do is exploit it for his sense gratification. Yes we have to get back to nature but killing innocent animals will only bring us more misery. Better off to be locked up in your apartment than murdering animals go to http://www.essene.org for how to actually connect with nature. Also http://www.stephen-knapp.com for universal truths get How the universe was created and our purpose in it.

yes we are! and we all need to do something about it! when i am older i plan on getting some land that has a few acres of wood and i will build a camp and live there :) when you are closer to nature and you dont have the hectic life of today to worry about then it gets easier to connect with god (in my oppinion) when your out there all you have to worry about is "hunting, spirituality, water, fire, ect, ect."
