My Mother is a Dementia patient and I'd like to talk to others who are dealing with a loved one with the disease. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I used to but, I forgot the name of it.
How about querying dementia or alzheimers disease (or related diseases) at WebMD?
Look into groups on the net at MSN, YAHOO, etc..

I am just now going through the process of getting my mom diagnosed. I think I know what type of dementia she has (Pick's), but I'll know more this Monday. My grandmother has been in a home for over 10 years. We all thought she had Alz. but maybe not. I'd love to know what you are experiencing.

My parents are 86 and it is quite difficult to sort out as they can be totally sharp at times, normal at others - and somewhat "off" at other times... my dad has grumpy old man syndrome and gets nasty too - - and I am at a distance from them.. not easy - let me know if you find a group - there must be something.. best to you..
