Well, right now I am writing a novel and I am only 13 years old. It really depends on your writing and your age. But if your writing is good enough, you can get it published it authorhouse.com

There are four good sources for finding scholarships, and they are free to use.

First, if you are a current high school student, your high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships. It just requires an application and either an essay or interview.

Second, some local organizations have an essay contest regarding a holiday or a special day such as Earth Day. Check out with each organization.

Third, most college financial aid offices have a list of private scholarships offered by companies and organizations.

Finally, there are free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. I recommend joining several of them.

Good luck!

Go to Fastweb and just do a lot of those. If you really write well it might pay off in an essay or 2. Good Luck!!!!
