It looks that way. With the divorce rate so high i understand why people do not want to get married. I am still waiting for my bf to act on getting married? Do we push it or let it slide?

Marriage will never be a thing of the past. The great news about marriage among gay and lesbians, for example, is that this culture really wants to preserve marriage as an institution. That is a good sign. And don't believe the media when it comes to how everyone is so multi-partnered today. Most of us are still one-on-one and hope to find Mr/Ms Right forever.

Oh yes l noticed it ,too. l still believe in marriage and in a monogamous relationship. So sad that most couple now are living together and have no plan of marrying. l based that on a survey that l read. Well, we can still hope for the best. We cannot deny that our moral foundation has deteriorated in years and may we wake up someday to fix it. The kids suffer too no matter what they say.

hopefully, or at least there should be some stricter requirements abvout obtaining a marriage license cause judging by the divorce rates people do not take this commitment very seriously and really do not consider the consequences of the actions rather they go in blinded with high hopes and great expectations, the reality check needs to happen before and not after marriage

because they can't be bothered to work out problems.
it's a throw away society so to speak
people buy new cars & they work on them to make them run good & smooth
but don't bother with a relationship.
They plain choose to be unfaithful or uncaring etc
they make all the choices to flirt or what ever.
& the governments helped it all by giving unmarried couples the same rights as the married ones so yes in time marriage will be no more in many many years down the track!!

Yes, Because people are getting farther and farther away from God. I mean loving God and his ways. As people get away from God they begin to live any kind of way. Why? because they don't care about his Laws. People wants to do what they want to do. Example: Two men, Two women marrying, God laws says thats wrong but people will tell you but I love them or its my life I do what I want to do. These things looks appealing to people who disrecard God. Young people especially go by what they see.
