I just cut it today and it is hard for me to streigten it now, as i have a 435 degree flat iron going near my face. How can i keep it from burning my face when i streigten my hair?

PS it won't streigten unless i use the flat iron.

Put a cloth preferably a wash cloth between your face and the iron.

Use a comb as a guard between the straightener and your face. You will have to hold the comb in one hand and the straightener in the other. Hope you get what I mean. Good luck

Lift the hair off of your face as you straighten it out.

u could put a towel around ur face or a headband.
