...then why not come to church and find out for yourself? There are friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!

Church is about worshipping God, not judging other people. No one is perfect; no one is "better" than anyone else. But by God's awesome love and Jesus' resurrection, anyone can be forgiven and healed.

A church fellowship is also about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends. In addition to the usual Sunday-morning worship, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs and other activities throughout the week.

If you've been to church before and decided Christianity isn't for you, remember--peace, joy, freedom, happiness, fulfillment, and eternal life are rare jewels; they aren't just on the ground waiting to be picked up. To gain the real treasure we must seek it with persistence and patience.

Won't you join us this Sunday?

Pureza, I'm not hiding any answers. Other Christians' answers have probably gotten low ratings from Mr. "Bauer" and his ilk, which could cause what you're talking about. Thank you.

Mr. Bauer, you couldn't "know" those things because they aren't true, and are mostly subjective opinions in any case. If you believe them, I urge you humbly and sincerely to ask God to open your eyes to His truth.

I believe in god and everything, I am a born again christian and I am Southern Baptist. But, I don't go to church anymore and I don't believe in going to church. I think church is all for show and money and the people that go are a bunch of hypocrites. I used to be a church goer, I was raised in church all my life and I let my 8 year old nephew whom I am raising go to church, only because he wants to. But, as for me I have worked in restaurants a long time in my town and I have seen a lot of very rude people and people that tried to get things for free and these people are so called Christians. I also have a grandfather that was suppose to be religious and he crammed his belief down his family members throats and he thought he was better than everyone else and he is registered as a sex offender now and I lived with this family as a foster child and my foster dad whom is a southern baptist minister violated me. Before the question come up I would have pressed charges, but, I was 18 and it happened for years and people would say it was consenting, so then to go threw all of that, I broke it off. But, that's not the point a lot of so called religious people have let me down so I chose to still be a believer, but not go to church. You don't have to go to church to be a christian or to worship. You can worship anywhere, church is only a building!

No, im afraid i might get raped by the virgin priests

Besides if churches spent there money on the poor rather then building very high expensive catherdrals then poverty wouldnt be as high as it was today.

I have respect for your faith but why are you trying to use this message space to try to recruit people? If you have a question ask it.
