What do you mean by the word "serve"?
For Christians, serving God is worshiping Him, glorifying Him, proclaiming the Gospel to those who don't know it and many other ways to serve God.
With Satan-- just not knowing and not acknowledging God is serving the devil. The devil's purpose on earth is to mislead and deceive humans of the knowledge and true nature of God. It's a spiritual battle between God and the devil-- humans are the pawns in this endless battle until Jesus comes back to rule the earth for 1,000 years.
So where do you belong? Who are you unknowingly serving? *smile*

Even satan doesn't want you to worship him, he wants you to worship yourself. That is true satanism, and great way to end up in hell. The nature of Christianity is selfless service. The nature of today's world and satan himself is self service. So yes not serving God is synonymous with serving satan.

For all people,, God has promised a resurrection of both righteous and un-righteous persons. So even persons that have not had a change to make a decision to know about God and his purpose for mankind, those will have an opportunity to do so.
