have hollywood stopped producing movies on vcr tapes?

I think you will find that they have been phased out.DVD's have replaced them.I'm not even sure if they will be compatible when we go to digital tv.

Yes the movie comapanys;; not hollywood, only sell movies on dvd. i dont know why you would want vhs tapes for a vcr but you can convert dvd's to vhs but i dont see the point or expence. Just go buy a $50 dvd palyer. really, there not that expensive if thats your problem

No, they still make them; they only make less of them since more people buy DVD's.
